Kings are Scared!!!

Another team very much in the hunt for Brad Miller are the Kings. The Bee's Martin McNeal reports that the Kings may try to ship Scot Pollard and Hedo Turkoglu to the Pacers in a sign-and-trade deal for Miller.

As i remembered, didnt the kings say that they were fine with their line up and not looking to change there roster. [Swearing is not permitted at Clublakers. You must edit this post prior to submitting.]!!!! I remember that the Maloof brothers talking about not needing anyone else. If you have the links for any of the kings saying this please post it up here.

Horry was a starter, not a bench player,....... :man4: It's not like we gave a lot to get even more... Horry was on a slump that he wasn't able to pull himself out of... We got Malone and GP as FA, and we could have got Horry back, but he wants to be closer with his fam. He verbally agreed to a contract, so nothing complete yet.... :man5:

Im sayin that Malone & Peaton will not be on ur bench, when Horry would be. So who is on your bench? Medvedenko! Give me a break :man9:

And Horry verbally commited but u think he will change his mind? :man10:

Why does he need to be closer to his family? I think he just wants to play with a team were he will get to shoot more.

Firstly i'm not trying to start a fight with you, I just think your assessment on our bench is false...here's why...

Starters:

PG) Payton
SG) Kobe
SF) George (till Fox gets back healthy enough)
PF) Malone
C) Shaq

Bench:

PG) Fisher, Pargo
SG) Rush
SF) George (when Fox gets back), Walton
PF) Cook, possibly someone else with vet. min.
C) Slava, possibly Chenowith (could place him on the IL)

We will be three deep in almost every postion and with a starting 5 like that, who cares....bottom line...our bench is young, energetic and an upgrade from last year...put that together with an unbelievable ugrade to our starting 5 and the Kings can't even match up to us even with the loss of Horry...granted you guys will still have an overall better bench, but you guys don't even come close to matching us on paper....still it remains to be seen....but please don't kid yourself

haha,
Rush and Pargo had playing time last year!!! Fox will be back before all star break!!!! Walton and Cook will play if Malone and Shaq are tired!!! AHhahaah Lakers will take back the ring again this year..... Kings have done nothing to improve!!! Wolves have improved more thent he Kings!!!

1. Lakers
2. Spurs
3. Mavs
4. Wolves
5. Kings

If your bench is so deep, why did webber being injuried hurt the kings. If your bench is so good then they should be able to pick up the slack!!!

Who cares...you guys have had an awesome bench for 3 years now....have you guys won championships in that time.....NO....we have with our pathetic bench......So lets see what this proves.....A good bench doesn't win championships..only winners do....you have webber that has lost on the collegiate level and has yet to get even close to one at the professional level, Bibby has been associated with a loser (Grizzlies) ever since he came into the league.....Vlade the closest thing you guys have to a leader (and what a coincidence ex-laker...that's why).....So stop with this bench non-sense

Kings get: C Brad Miller
Pacers get: F/C Scot Pollard
Spurs get: G/F Hedo Turkoglu and G Ron Mercer

Indiana, Sacramento and San Antonio are on the verge of a three-team trade that will send Brad Miller to the Kings, ESPN.com has learned. The deal would foil attempts by Utah and Denver to sign the free-agent center.

The deal calls for Indiana to sign Miller to a multiyear deal and ship him to the Kings, who consider him the ideal long-term replacement for Vlade Divac, the 35-year-old center entering the final year of his contract.

As part of the exchange, Indiana receive Scot Pollard as a replacement for Miller, after the Pacers determined that they couldn't absorb the luxury-tax implications of meeting Miller's money demands.

The trade will also send swingmen Hedo Turkoglu and Ron Mercer to the Spurs as potential replacements for free agent Stephen Jackson. Turkoglu and Mercer are both in the final year of their contracts, preserving San Antonio's salary-cap flexibility for next summer when it must re-sign Manu Ginobili. Jackson is seeking a long-term deal.

It's expected that at least one more player will be involved in the deal, likely going to Indiana, to satisfy salary-cap requirements.

They got Miller...but they lost on a good prospect in Hedo.

Well, the Queens are deep enough to lose on Turkgolu.
