Kings Choking Again... Will They Lose?

Postby BDG on Thu Dec 25, 2003 5:01 pm

The Queens were up by 16 at the half and then Dallas has surged back so it's 7:00 remaining in the 3rd and it's only a one point lead.

Will the Kings choke again?

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

Unfortunately they're playing Dallas.

As long as you're not behind by 50 to them there's always a chance to win the game. Hell, even with a 50 point lead I'd question Dallas' tenacity on D and their desire to do anything but chuck up 3's.

As much as I can't stand Excramento - they'll pull this one out. It's ggod for the Lakers in the long run though - it forces them to keep sharp and not slip under them in the standings.

Its a good thing - they didnt pass us for the best record!
But if it'll continue this way SA will!
Pau Gasol yesterday morning when asked about Dwight Howard: "I haven't called. Calls are expensive."

mavs should go with that starting lineup more often:

nash finley jamison walker nowitzki

THAT lineup will make them a championship team...cuz JAMISON dominated tha kings tonight...

but im not convinced tha mavs are that good, tha kings didnt have peja or webber...and they STILL struggled to beat this team

Thank You.

The Mavs suck this year, period. Take two of your starting lineup off the court and see how well you do.

You think the Mavs would have won without Nash and Nowitski on the court?

But I thought the Kings were the self-proclaimed DEEPEST TEAM?? Like they've been saying every year...just like "Wait til next year." :freak2:

well tha same team that beat us 3 nights ago, tha warriors, beat tha kings tonight in GS, 98-91...man those are huge wins for Golden State, 2 straight home games against tha league's 2 best teams, they handled both of them with no pressure...tha warriors are lookin good and are gettin healthy, troy murphy is back, and pretty soon they'll be able to bring cliffy off tha bench when troy is 100%, and nick van exel is really doin a great job of distributing tha ball and not tryin to take over tha game like he used to in denver and even in dallas....J-Rich should be an all star this year, but most likely he wont be...and dunleavy has improved VASTLY over last yera and now we know why GS traded Jamison...

we nearly beat dallas with our 6th-7th man starting. Mind you, gearld wallace, who has not been that good this year...played very well that game.

as for the GS game...ack...i just dunno... they always play us tight, and this time...the string broke for us.

Last season the won @ Staples and beat the Nets both in a week I believe. "Heathly" young team with some vets for leadership and balance.... I went to the Warriors New Orleans game and the intensity was not there... you would of thought it was the Warriors on the road rather then at home.......... BUT they seem to all show and play for the big games........

naw they are finally gettin it together...they've beaten some of tha best teams in tha league this season, tha mavs, tha lakers, tha spurs, tha kings, etc etc But then they can lose to teams like tha hawks or tha wizards...i jus dont get those kind of teams...I think if GS can be consistent, they can make tha playoffs...cuz i still dont believe tha jazz and nuggets will make it this year....

Yep as hard as it is to believe they got a good chance at making it.
