Kings don't have what it takes to hang with the Nets

Postby JSM on Tue Mar 16, 2004 6:34 pm

This game isn't over yet, but unless Kobe joins the Kings and scored 26 4th quarter points for them, then they will lose to the Nets.

It looks like a pitiful game by the Kings, they have only scored 55 points in 3 quarters, very un-King like.

Nets-75
Kings-55

end of the 3rd quarter

looks like we may have a good shot of stealing the first spot from them, if they keep this up

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

I'm not surprised at this loss by the Kings at all. Kings have no defense and transition defense is one of the hardest to do, especially against the team that's best known for it's fast break points.

I wouldn't say the kings got no defense. They just had a rare off-night

the queens D just suck this year. got to admit that they played decent D last year. but this year they play more like the mavs tryin to out gun opponents. only decent defender you guys got left is mr. jackie cristie and bojax... the only player in sacto i have respect for

Yeah ... it seems they just had an off night and got caught by the Nets having a quality game.

I'm not worried much about a loss like this. Kings will be fine.

i waz just browsing NBA.com and they have the WIZ winning by a point (against the queens). before webber came back from his injury, they were winning against teams by double digits, and now they can't even hang with the wiz? :man10: w'Ssup with that :freak2:

Yikes Kings are losing to Wizards, Mavs are losing to Hawks, who knows, maybe Lakers might lose to Clippers.
