Kings fans giving up on their team

Postby rydjorker121 on Sat Nov 15, 2003 5:41 pm

Got from LakersTalk, thks LakersFan2003 for the update on our QueensFan-atics enemies.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Man, and we thought WE were frustrated by out 5-2 Lakers. The 4-3 Kings Fans are already giving up on their team. I'm shocked. Check out some of these quotes from Kings Fans ... man, and I thought WE we hard on our team. LOL

Thread #1: "Adelman is NOT for the Kings"
Adelman has been a %$#!@%$#!@%$#!@%$#!@ing idiot lately. I just don't understand the guy and his way of thinking. Some of his decisions just doesn't get into my head.

Thread #2: "complacency"
sticking w/idleman will make the kings the atlanta braves of the NBA - great regular seasons, but always falling short when it matters. - This from a guy named "WebberFan" hehe

And the third thread. This is funny. They're really hoping for a Lakers implosion, only because they know they can't beat the Lakers. I mean, how many stories about possible Kings implosions, or San Antonio, or even Dallas do we see? Hardly any ... why? Because we don't need an implosion on their part to win.

Thread #3: "Countdown to Implosion"
Now if the whole bickering thing would just last past January, we'll be all set.

Sad. The Kings will be all set so long as the Lakers implode.

Why did I post this? Because the Kings, and their fans, are, in general (yes, exceptions granted), a bunch of whiners. Look through their site and you'll see a multitude of posts on how the Lakers were only able to win because of the refs. Then, when they lose, (look from the Kings @ Knicks game thread for an example), it's always the refs. I find it funny how when your rival wins, it is due to the unfairness of some third party (the refs), and when your own team loses, it is due to the unfairness of that same third party. Course, when their team wins the refs were totally fair

Their website is filled with Laker postings .... we have barely a one Kings post. I like that. It shows that our focus is on this Laker team, and what we need to do ... we're not looking up at the champs and trying to follow and duplicate their every move. We know that our success is dependent on our ability to win, and not on the propensity of other teams to fail.

Fairweather fans... They expect to have instant success every year... Every team has struggles, and that's when teams need their fans the most. Us Lakers fans NEVER EVER gave up on our Lakers, and it's the most uplifting when we dont change the channel, and we watch them come back from a 20 point deficit... :jam2:

It's too bad these fans dont have any pride in their team. They aren't TRUE fans at all... Aint that dissapointing. :man3:

You're an idiot.

All I see on this board is idiots suggesting trading or violence towards Laker's players playing under par...what a joke

no u see thats where ur wrong, thats where ur team goes DOWN, they play MUCH better without webber! Webber is a cancer to tha team, he demands tha ball and ruins tha chemistry of tha team, and tha "passing game" of tha kings goes downhill, cuz then they jus stand and watch webber in tha post! tha kings are a much better team without him...sorry!

Webber leads the kings in assists. How does he mess up chemistry? We lost to the mavs in the playoffs because webb was out

That was last year, this is THIS year...and brad miller is doin an excellent job for tha kings, they dont need webber! trade him for ray allen or someone that can score in tha clutch and not choke like he always does~!

LOL, yeah Weber leads the team in assits and he is a cancer and ball hog... give me a break. Miller is doing great adn he wil be a fine replacemnt for Vlade, but C Web is the man that made the Kings contenders and he is the man that will bring the championship to real CA. The Kings are a top team with out him but with him they will tear up the NBA, bank on it.

Yea thats why they've exited from tha playoffs each year...and if C-Webb didnt go down, yea they prolly woulda beaten tha mavs, but woudl they have beaten tha spurs? we'll never know...but i woudl put MONEY on tha spurs against tha kings...

ur jus lucky your kings dont hafta play san antonio dallas or the lakers before c webb gets back! And yes c webb did make tha kings playoff contenders...but what has he done to bring them over tha edge? he is NOT a clutch player, ur clutch player is BIBBY, but hes not good enuff to be tha LEADER of that team!!! U guys are BETTER OFF with vlade miller stoja bibby and christie, and u should trade INJURY PRONE WEBBER for a clutch player and a player who can be a LEADER on ur team!

They'll tear it up like they have for the last 5 years right Celt?

Please, they've gotten worse this year both in the starters and on the bench.

The 10 things to bank on the Kings doing this or any year:
1) Having an excuse for everything that doesn't go their way.
2) Complaints about EVERY call against them.
3) Webber will get hurt around early May
4) Stojakovic won't drive the middle against viable centers or guards
5) Rick Adelman choking in a critical situation
6) When it matters most, nobody will hit the last shot
7) Never saying that the "other team" outplayed them
8) Not admitting fault for any lost game
9) Claim that there's a reffing conspiracy
10) Rebuilding after another failed campaign in 2003-2004

Retiring No. 2:
Mitch Richmond's Jersey to hang from the ARCO rafters
The number of one of the greatest players in Kings history, Mitch Richmond, will forever hang from the rafters of ARCO Arena after a special retirement ceremony to take place this Friday, December 5, 2003. The first true superstar in the Sacramento-era, Richmond will be rewarded for his years of hard work and labor with the Kings' franchise and the city of Sacramento. No other King will ever wear the number two again.

hhahhahahh!! He got a ring with the Lakers!!!! Their greatest player has a ring with Lakers!!!
