130-99 at ARCO....man, they shot lights out and held the pitiful Sonics to 42% shooting...and now that we lost to the Clips thats another team that we lost to that the Clips beat....course, we were undermanned, but I mean to put up no defense against the Clips again is pathetic....and the refs too are totally psyching the game up

not to sound like a jackass or anything...but look at this

Kings vs. LA Clippers: Win for SAC
Kings vs. Seattle: Win for SAC

LA vs. Seattle: Loss for LA
Lakers vs. Clippers: Loss for Lakers.

even with the injuries, i still dont see how the lakers lost the last 2 games...

Don't worry, you don't sound like a jackass.

The Seattle game-- we didn't have Shaq or Malone. Seattle is a good team and we barely lost to them.

The Clippers game-- I hate to sound like a Kings fan, but the refs cost us that game. Once again, no Malone or Shaq and THREE terrible calls in the last minute that potentially cost us six or seven points, not to mention others throughout the second half.

It's okay though, once we get O'Neal, Malone and Fox back, we'll be fine.

I could say the same thing to Kings fans about losing to the Lakers in the WCF in 02. The Kings themselves didn't accept we beat them. Bibby, Webber and Adelman all blamed it on the refs even though they choked that night on their home floor. That's the whole reason this Lakers-Kings feud started.

If the Kings didn't complain about that series, it would have just been considered as a great 7 games between the teams. It's not like that was the only time they whined about the refs too. That's why I said "hate to sound like a Kings fan." Your team is known for that around the league.

You do realize we don't have our entire frontcourt right? I say entire because George apparently can't score without Shaq on the floor giving him open looks.

LOL...............

We kinda feel that way about not having Webb........ and George same prob we had with Bibby but he has adjusted...........

Yep there was a lot to complain about, but then, seems almost every game now dayz has some bad calls............ A lot of that whinning was the direct fault of some of the local radio people crying foul at every turn and losing their composure........

To many arm chair experts second guessing & analing every call.....

The instant replay has been a blessing but more of a curse

Honestly no offense, but I didn't understand most of that last post, could you be more specific?

Are you comparing Shaq, the undisputed Most Dominant Player ever with Chris Webber? Please don't put them on an equal level; Shaq is much better than Webber ever could be and he's accomplished much more in his career.

I agree. I just hate when players whine about calls instead of playing the game. It looks like you feel the same way.

Are you talking about the instant replay on TV or in the game (at ends of quarters)?

By the way, thanks for the clarification.

Comparing George's reliance of on Shaq w/ the one Bibby had as well with Webber setting screens.......

“Are you talking about the instant replay on TV or in the game (at ends of quarters)?

Yea, just the instant replay that is focused at pointing out missed and bad calls. I think it detracts from the game but I like seeing the replay of shots, dunks and game play etc…

Gotcha. For a second there I thought you were comparing C-Web and Shaq as equals.

I think it's always interesting to see what could have happened-- that's one of the things that makes talking about basketball fun.

but if ur talkin bout last year, tha lakers and kings went 2-2, with each team gettin a home and away victory

should be interesting come friday....but i dont think we'll be ready...both shaq and malone are injured as well as fox...but we'll see what happens...hpefully it can be tha turning point of tha season

Webber won't play in friday's lakers/kings game. I expect Webb to come back after the all star break.

I'm pretty sure that when webber gets off the injured list, he'll be suspended for a few games from his court outcome over the summer.

...LOL

Guess it did not matter the last time ...lol

I was hoping it to be the Lakers "all" (rix, karl and shaq) up VS. the webberless Kings......

Guess it will be another meaningless game up north...... :man4:

yea seriously i call this game meaningless cuz it wont be a fair game...u guys wont have ur "best" player and we wont have our entire front court(Shaq Malone and yes FOX)....but if it is INDEED like that, i think tha kings have tha better chance of winning...cuz they play better without webber and we play worse without our front court...

Why does everyone keep saying we play better without webber? Just because we still win without him does not mean we play better.

i think that webber slows tha game down for u guys...and everyone flows better and gets into tha game...6 to 7 players each night get into double figures when webber isnt playin...and plus when webber comes back peja's game depletes and he fades in tha offense and all tha attention goes to webber...then u guys become predictable and we know where tha ball is goin each time...instead of tha fluent passing that miller and divac do to a cutting peja doug or bibby, u will have jus post entry passes to webber and watch him try to do hook shots and turn around jumpers...

i jus think if u got rid of him and got someone like Ray Allen u guys would be even better
