lakers vs. spurs spring of 2000 finale

Do any of you recall this game. The stat crazy people forgot about this game (all national media and lakers fan included). Why did shaq elbow David in overtime of the final game of the 2000 season, as the lakers were going for there 68 the win. It was because without being illegally agressive, unlike shaq, David outscored and defended shaq from the beginning of the fourth quarter on. NOw I have no numbers for you stat people. But without TIM DUNCAN, who was supposedly better than him from two years earlier, David singlehandedly beat the Lakers. NOw, I know one would think the Lakers were resting up for the playoffs. They needed all the rest they could get before barely beating every single one of the four teams they beat. What do you think about this. Oh also the spurs that year even though they were the 4th seed they were the only team to beat the lakers more than once, oops three of the 15 losses. So when RIck FOx sits on his [Swearing is not permitted at Clublakers. You must edit this post prior to submitting.] in last year's playoffs where is your lakers injury support coming from.
