I've searched the post history of a couple Emplay bashers & they both had posted articles they had written for sports websites I had never heard of.. I think he has "haters" lol. You officially made it Emplay! I don't know about "sources", but I've been around CL & LG reading Emplays work for atleast 8 or 9 years.. He has always been good about not running wild with rumors (outside of the time he may or may not have cost us Boozer), doesn't seem like a guy that would make things up or needs to. Often clarifies things that I had questions about regarding our ability to make rumored moves, like his recent piece about us not being able to acquire Jennings in a S&T despite the fact that we got below the tax threshhold, because we did it after the deadline.. I don't really understand the hate.

If Odom can still handle the ball and run the floor it would be a great pickup.

Too bad he married into the psycho family but hey.. maybe he's used to it and can handle playing again.

Hasn't been the same since we lost Phil, bench guys and Odom.

I don't like to accuse people of hate that merely may not think he has sources. I personally am not sure how many sources Emplay has either. Most of his articles do seem to be in the hypothetical realm. He isn't Woj, but he does know people in the organization so he isn't some hack. Emplay sometimes has interesting articles, but at the same time I wouldn't look to him to really ever break anything either. Does that make me a hater? I hope not cause I don't hate the guy. :man10: He strikes me as a very knowledgable fan that contributes that knowledge to the times.

I think what Real is getting at (and I for sure) is that some people go out of their way to belittle or downgrade Emplay. I do not remember him (Emplay) ever claiming he had sources of any type. Just don't see the point to act like (not saying you) he is some fanboy posting.
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

Eric...thank you for all you do here. You give us straight information from what you know. At the same time, maybe sometimes even before mainstream media. Sometimes your opinions are out in front even of what is about to go down, just because of the attention you pay and work you put in. :jam2: :jam2: :jam2:

Last I'd read the Lakers have an open door for Lamar, but he's taking care of that cameraman issue he had. :man10:

Also, I think Lamar is hesitant to come back here. Once the Clippers have signed Mullens though I think Lamar will be more inclined to return.

I would hope both Kobe and Pau are talking to him as friends and wanting him back. And as competitive players to give it another go around. Hell Farmar ought to shout out to him as well. That's all that's left.

Makes no sense for him to re-sign....Hollins re-signed, and the Clips just got Mullens....so where will the minutes come for LO?

Lakers can offer more minutes and the same amount of money.....makes NO sense for him to re-sign with the Clipppers

Well Doc is an excellent coach and he has had and I'm sure he respects skilled and talented players. He probably wants him. That's not correlated to where his game is at of course.

Not surprising... Odom never get over being traded plus he thinks the Clipper situation is better even if he will never get the minutes he is accustomed to.

Damn, I know Clippers are being hyped by a lot of people and media as the LA's new team, but still find it hard to believe that Lamar Odom actually wants to be a Clipper and choosing them over the Lakers, he's about to sign with them soon right? eh ..

Come home Lamar, come back to the Lakers ! :man6:

Lamar going to the Clips will help the Lakers more than the Clips....

He probably doesn't even want the minutes - probably just wants to get paid.

Then why sign with the Clippers?

I'm not gonna be mad at or hate on Lamar if he goes back to the Clippers. Most people would say the Clippers are a contender next season, does he want to get the minimum for a mediocre Lakers team, or for a contender? Makes sense to me why he'd want to go back there, and unless I'm way off I haven't noticed a lot of interest in LO on the Lakers end anyway. WE seem to want him for the most part here on CL, but the Lakers don't seem to.

All that article says is that he MAY resign with them.

Either way it doesn't really matter to me. If he does come back cool, if not that's fine with me too.
