Wow, I heard this morning that he had gotten the job.

Crap, you take all of Detriots talent, add him as a teacher, and get Darko in the 2nd pick in the draft, you have a very good team. It's almost a scary thought... WOW.

No they had the power, but when they announced him as the head coach, he will be the teacher that the talent so very needs...

Larry Brown is a great coach and a great person. I work in UCLA emergency radiology and the summer after the Lakers beat the Sixers in the FINALS, Larry Brown came in the emergency room for some xrays. He was in So. Cal for vacation. I said hello coach and he was impressed that I recognized who he was. I told them that I'm a big Laker fan, and he said that I should be proud of the Lakers because in his opinion that the Lakers were a great organization. I was surprised that he had so many kind words to say for a team that just denied him the title. He is class and I'm glad that he will coach a team that works hard, PRACTICES hard, and plays hard. That is a blue collar team he is about to coach, and I'm glad that he gets teh chance to coach Detroit.

I love Larry's coaching too, I've never seen him in person, but in the post game interviews or just interviews he has showed a lot of respect for his own team and the opposing team. I think he should have stayed with the sixers, but maybe it was just too much AI. However, I also think he will do well with his enthusiam in the piston organization, with all that atheletism on that team. Good Luck Larry!
