Magic responded to not being included in Bron's top 3 apparently:

Lebron is entitled to his opinion, but I still think that he and I have a similar game and that’s why I LOVE to watch him play!

NBA Championship rings are all that matter; Jordan 6, Me 5, Bird 3, LeBron 2 and Dr. J 1.

Dr. J in the top 3 is worse than having Bill Russell.

My top 3 would be MJ, Kobe, and Shaq.

Well.... you had a plausible and defendable stance until you put Shaq in there.... Bill Russell is higher than him.... so are about 8 or 9 other most definitely and 4 or 5 others arguably.

Magic and LeBron are not that similar. Magic was horrid on defense.... and wasn't much of a shooter until very late in his career. LeBron and Magic can get to the hoop equally well but what they do when they get there is pretty different. LeBron is no where near the initiator Magic was.

Yup. Magic was "magic" with his passing. Haven't seen that ability since Nash in his prime. LeBron has court vision, but nothing compared to Magic and Nash.

I saw some shots that LeBron made in the finals, that were pretty amazing, but nothing on the level of Jordan. He and the Heat played mediocre basketball until the Spurs ran out of gas. Not a stellar finals by any means. No Jordan or Magic heroics.

I think my top 3 (considering "greatness" and also my own personal criteria) would be:
MJ - Kareem - Kobe
