LeBron: Scary To Think We Can Be Better Than Last Season

Postby Kobe8Fan on Fri Sep 28, 2012 10:45 am

The Miami Heat added Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis in the offseason, improving upon a team that won the 2012 NBA Finals.

"It's scary to look in our locker room and say we can be better than we were last season," said LeBron James.

Shut up you big headed buffoon. Y'all weren't great last year. You got fortunate to run into an injured Boston team and an inexperienced OKC team. One of the weakest champions of all time. Can't wait to smoke those Miami clowns.

Rashard. Lewis. Is. Garbage.

Can we stop talking about him like he was some great addition? He was awful last season, just horrible. Allen is a good addition IF he can stay healthy (big if), but Lewis SUCKS.

I honestly believe Allen will be a great addition to the Heat. One of the best to create space, incredible three point shooting and good scorer in general. Also, he won't have much responsabilities is Wade remains somewhat healthy. It really does make them better.

But I have to agree on Lewis. The guy is pure garbage, hasn't done anything useful since 2009 I believe, I'd rather go with James Jones.

^ I agree about Allen. I think he's going to be a great add for them especially since Battier is another year older and Mike Miller is basically a corpse.

But foot injuries in basketball linger and Allen has those bone spurs. I have my doubts that he plays more than 60-65 games for them this season.

Lebron is the best player in the game right now and the Heat are coming off their first championship. They should be the favorites just by default; Ray Allen is also a great pickup.

However, Dwayne has knee issues, they still have nobody in their frontcourt besides Bosh that isn't a liability. We'll see how it turns out for them...

Scary that they could be worse this year too, especially if Wade doesn't come back full strength.

scary to whom? they'll need to be better, unless they're counting on timely injuries and choking young opponents again.

they were the 2nd seed in the playoffs and lost 2 games to the pacers, 3 to the old celtics. is it really scary to think they could be better than that, or something that they should be obviously trying to better?

Actually, I may be in the minority, but I think Boston is the better team. They're getting Avery Bradley back added Jason Terry, Courtney Lee, and resigned Jeff Green. They got a steal in Jarod Sullinger and another big in Fab Melo. I maybe crazy, though...

This. They're going to depend on their aging role players again and for some reason I doubt that Battier repeats his ridiculous performance. Not to mention Miller. And if you're counting on Rashard Lewis then I think everyone in the league likes their chances against Miami.
