I don't see Lin developing into an impact player that matches the hype he's receiving. He'll be a decent backup PG and that's it. He's not athletic and still hasn't proven he can run a real offense efficiently. I can't get excited over a mediocre player as a basketball fan.
On top of that, both the Knicks and Rockets will probably be inconsequential in the NBA next year. So who cares?
