Melo isn't the only ball stopper on that team......

It's a combination of chuckers and ball stoppers....eltoro wrote:Wow! Carmelo and JR Smith taking some potshots on Lin. Carmelo basically said that Lin isn't good enough for the contract money that Houston is offering. JR said basically that there are other guys in the league that should be making as much as Lin, also insinuating that Lin isn't good enough for the money. JR apparently has been exchanging texts with Carmelo and Amare and said that the NYC organization has moved on from Linsanity.

He dropped 40 points last year against Bryant, Artest, and two 7-foot centers.

That was before the league caught on to him, and our team was in a sort of free fall at the time as well iirc. When the league adjusted, he became a bit of a turnover machine.

I think Lin proved himself in NY, he brought a buzz to that team. I'm not understanding NY's thought process here.

Not only that but Lin has to be one of the better point guards that they have had in a while. I mean, they had Marbury but he didn't have much surrounding talent and he was more of a scorer IIRC.

Twitter again, huh?

Jeremy Lin's value in terms of marketability is really high, but in reality NYK only see a very small piece of that pie. Paying the tax with money you don't have, very unlikely. Lin to Houston.

Dude, how old are you? He's Taiwanese-American. He speaks Chinese.....his parents speak Chinese....
See. This just proves my lint. Lin isn't even Chinese. He is American. His parent aren't Chinese either. I think they are American also, born in Taiwan. And Taiwan is a totally different country than China.

Jeremy Lin's parents are dual citizens.
And last I heard Taiwan isn't even a country. It is a territory of China.
And WTH does proving your lint mean?
eltoro wrote:Uh hello?! Taiwan is a country. If it was part of China, then they would call it China, not Taiwan. Who cares anyway? Lin was born in the USA, so that makes him American.
Taiwan , officially the Republic of China, is a state in East Asia. Originally based in mainland China, the Republic of China now governs the island of Taiwan
