One of Walton's best games in some time.

John Ireland: Hey George, what do you think about this new Lakers team?

George Lopez: I don't know man, they're starting to look like the Iowa caucus... a lot of Caucasians out there... any more and I'll have to whip out my lawnmower, sheesh.

I like his job on the bench. I hope he mentor Metta and Fish and teach them how to keep their a.. on the bench.

Am I crazy if I said I'd be happier if Brown played Luke rather than Ron?......... :man3:

I'll probably have a change of heart once Luke gets on the floor for a minute or so....

6-8-3 with 5 off boards... nice job fLuke. I'll still be nervous every time you're on the court though. Not bad defensively either.

Now if this was the kind of play we could get from him every night, minus the horrendous looking shots, it wouldn't be the end of the world. McBobs, Murphy and Kapono need to get back ASAP. But it was the Suns and this could possibly be Walton's best game this season.

Big ups to him though. :jam2:

Luke played within himself which and had a good game. I hope he can end his career on this high note.....

Walton had 8 rebounds 5 offensive, 6 points, 3 assists according to Brown. What is unnoticed is how he tracked down Frye who was losing the slower rotating Gasol out on the perimeter. Walton was able to close out on the Sun PF who was NEVER an off the dribble shooter anyway. He still made me cringe when he shot the ball but at least he did not force them and only when he was open. Well, even then Walton still made me twitchy when he took them [grin].
No siggie...
