When Luke's on court: 82.6 points per 100 possessions
When Luke's off court: 99.4 points per 100 possessions

That's better than everybody else on the team by a large margin.

Is that the Lakers points per 100 possessions?

its finally time for Mike Brown to unleash the beast and start Luke...he could carry the team a bit offensively, especially now that others are "off", Luke's shooting could be critical for us.

I actually think Luke could give us better minutes than Metta.

Yes. I haven't looked at the stats more in-depth, but I think it's largely affected by the game in Phoenix when Luke was playing the 4. Don't quote me on that though.

@LakersReporter Luke Walton is out for tonight and tomorrow's games with gastroenteritis. He did not make the trip.

Anyone else notice that Luke Walton always hurts himself RIGHT before the trade deadline seemingly every season.

How can you be insinuating something like that? It's pure coincidence.

Even when he had some value 2-3 years ago he somehow has health issues right by trade deadline. I honestly think he is just trying his hardest to stay a laker by any means.

Would anyone actually notice if Luke wasn't sitting on our bench for a few games? I know I wouldn't, the thought "where is Luke?" would probably never occur to me.

No. I honestly don't know whether he's in uniform or not. It's like he's not on the team. But he still gets paid TONS of money. Well, hey... at least he has high BBQ, right? :man1:

Lakers vs. Hawks 2/14/2012

There was very little love in the building tonight as the Lakers narrowly beat the Hawks, 96-88. The game started out ugly as the Lakers, save for Andrew, shot horribly and trailed the Hawks by as much as 14 before halftime. However, the Lakers shooting heated up and the Hawks cooled off considerably as the Lakers pulled away late. Luke Walton contributed with a rousing pep talk to MWP, standing up from his perch on the bench as MWP hesitated behind the arc. Luke’s encouraging words gave MWP the strength to drain a clutch three pointer late in the game. While it may not show up on the box score…

Luke Walton: 0 minutes, 0 points, 0 rebounds, 0 steals, 0 blocks, 0 fouls, 1 assist.
