In all seriousness though, always seemed like a good guy, I know he was a good teammate and our guys liked him, I do feel a tiny bit bad for him having to move to freakin Cleveland, but hey it's only for a year and a half.

Seriously, the guy has been focused solely on his BBQ biz since he got that big pay day from us (that was when he dropped the shooting coach coincidentally).

Goodbye, good riddance and good luck, Luke! Not a bad guy at all, but one I'm so happy to see go!

A friend sent me a joke that Luke needs to work extra hard because those benches in Cleveland are really cold. :man10:

Astonishing. As much as this day should be remembered as a day to pay homage to Derek Fisher, a Laker traded away as part of the heart and soul of this franchise...

this day will be always remembered as the day that an actual NBA team traded to GET Luke Walton.

Will wonders never cease.

He needs to just collect his last paycheck and then retire. He has no busieness in this league anymore.

we said for years that he was UNTRADEABLE because nobody wanted him, especially at his salary

shows how much we know.

I am still shocked Clevaland took him

I definitely appreciate that he's gone. He's not a bad guy at all, but his contract was killing us, even though it was Mitch's fault for signing him to a 6 year deal.

It was a Phil Jackson signing...so I just add Luke's salary to Pjax. still worth it.

He was pretty good on the radio, he should just come back as a color analyst or assistant coach, we could put that high IQ to good use for once.
