Luke Walton active at Cavs practice today, said no back issues, ready to play. Said he and Lakers coach Mike Brown "weren't on same page.
Walton said he was surprised by trade. "First thing I did was get on the laptop & see if we can make the playoffs. We’re only 2 games out."

Doc Brown wrote:I agree with him on Brown and Walton not being on the same page. It always seemed like Luke was sitting in a different spot on the bench every game. Brown never knew where to put him and it ultimately cost Walton his spot on the Lakers because of his inability to keep each different seat as warm as possible.
Tough break for the guy. Maybe in Cleveland with Byron Scott, he will only sit in one seat and be able to keep it warm as he did before Brown screwed everything up with him.
I also think it's more mental with Luke now. He needs to realize that he is very versatile and skilled. He can keep many seats warm at a time.
Ohh well...
