Postby Kobe_8_Bryant on Sat Feb 21, 2004 9:11 am

did any of yall see the magics game?
the refs refused to call a foul on a supposed "block" from anderson and t-mac just went off......he needed 13 pionts to become the second youngest player to ever reach 10,000 and he did.....but then went off......kickin the ball twice into the stands :jam2:

T-Mac was just hot...true, he was hacked and he achieved body contact from Chris Andersen, but if any of you know Chris Andersen, you know that the "Birdman" always receives the benefits of the calls whenever he shows his amazing leaping abilities to block close layups and jumpers...it seemingly leaves the referees in awe and they spectate rather than blow their whistle...its like instinct to see Chris Andersen's high-flying defensive plays...there was a time when he leaped over the opposition and blocked a shot and landed on someone's back and fell to the floor...if you'd seen the guy hes an absolute crazy high-flying jumping athletic freak...now you guys see why I wanted him to join the Lakers this offseason...and to think that he came from the NBDL...

I don't know why T-Mac kicked the ball like twice afterwards, Juwan Howard had to restrain him, but at least get one technical from the play--its just one missed shot, no need to get ejected from a play like that

When I saw the highlights, I was like, ok he kicked the ball once, why didn't he get ejected then? He kicked the ball twice... WTF? He's sick of losing, and it's funny cuz the Magic pulled through without him.

him getting ejected prolly motivated the other magics to play harder.
but i gotta admit, that was very funny. who tried to stop him when he kicked the ball twice?

It was Juwan Howard. T-Mac looked like a little kid out there.

I'll put the video up when I get a chance. It's weird how the Magic won without him.

I can understand how frustrated T-Mac must be playing for one of the worst NBA teams, but what he did last night was uncalled for. Kicking the ball once maybe, but twice? He deserved to get ejected, just like Wallace deserved to play last night for the Pistons but wasn't allowed to because of a stupid technicality. And no, I'm not a T-Mac hater, but he really hurt his team and the Magic were lucky to beat the Nuggets, one of the West's better teams. It's almost as bad as that drunken fan who attacked Orlando's mascot. :disagree:

It was really immature of him to go out there like he was trying to make a statement. Okay, if you have a disagreement with the officials you can yell at them, but don't do something so selfish and stupid by kicking the ball into the stands twice. It's almost like he wanted attention.
