If he can put up 2 points then Layden will offer him a 10 year - $121 million dollar contract.

But that's if he can put up the 2 points.

Hey Mutombo's having another good game, 9 pts, 14 rbs.

McDyess played his first game in over 2 years tonight, here are his stats:
2 points, 1 block, steal, and assist, 3 rebounds, 0-5 from the field, 2-4 from the line, all in 13 minutes.

Also, Deke has another solid game. He had 7 points and 18 rebounds.

If I was the Knick organization, I would be quite happy right now. They have been playing at a high level, and have been getting solid performances from- Houston, Ward, Van Horn, K. Thomas and Deke. They don't have to rely on McDyess, and can let him come along slowly, until he is 100%. They have won 4-5 of their last games and are on a good roll, and actually could make the playoffs this year.

McDysses is slowly starting to look like McDysses. His first game back he only had 2 points. But in his 2nd game which was against the Sonics, he scored 7 points, had 7 rebounds, and 1 block. And tonight he scored 14 points in 20 minutes and grabbed 6 boards.

He is going to be a big help for them if he continues to make this kind of progress and returns to his old self, which it looks like he will be able to do.

Im really rootin for tha knicks and mcdyess...they've had a tough couple of yrs since Ewing left....and injuries have killed them

Mcdyess played great tonight for only 20 minutes....once he gets into playin 30-35 mpg, he will help this loaded New York team...they look dangerous on paper when Mutumbo turns into that defensive-minded center and Van Horn and Houston are draining 3's non stop....

I tihnk they wiil lose to Lakers, Jazz, and Nuggets.

Here's why:
    Lakers-no explanation needed
Jazz-it will be the night after they play the Lakers, and back to back nights are always tough
Nuggets-the Nuggets are playing extremely well right now, #1 in their division, I just don't see them losing to the Knicks

Last night against us he didn't do too great- he only scored 5 points in 20 minutes, but he did get 9 boards.

Tonight, he played the most minutes yet, he played 26 minutes, scored 10 points, and grabbed 4 rebounds

I hope he can find his rhythm and even be 3/4 of the player he used to be

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

BEST VIDEO EVER ... AND AND THE SECOND BEST.

it looks like he is slowly getting there. The Knicks have the luxury of being able to afford for him to take him time in getting back to his old self, since they have an overload of big men. I expect for Mcdyess to work extremely hard throughout the year and especially this coming off season and come back next year, like his old self and be playing at 100%

he had a solid game last night:
He played 31 minutes, shot 6-11 from the field, scored 15 points, blocked a shot, stole the ball twice, got 2 assists, and grabbed 5 boards.

he continues to do well, and they keep upping his minutes, and it looks like he's progressing quite well.

Tonight, he scored 12 points, shot 5-13 from the field, grabbed 11 rebounds, and played 35 minutes.

This is good news for the Knicks.

im happy for knicks fans...finally seein somethin positive, hopefully they can string some wins together, houston lit it UP tonight, 39 pts...if they can get that from him every niight...man their startin lineup looks good on paper...but hopefully van horn wont get lost...but i expect houston and van horn to b tha main scorers while mcdyess comes along slowly...once mcdyess is 100%...he will become their main option...and they have tha luxury of bringin thomas off tha bench...and they still have lampe weatherspoon and anderson and eisly off tha bench...lampe is pretty good and he shoudl see PT sometime this season

In the win over the Hawks, he had a better game. He scored 19 points, pulled down 10 rebounds, shot 9-14 from the field, in 37 minutes

the 2 past games, he has contributed almost nothing to the team.

Against the T-Wolves (92-98 loss), on Tuesday, KG didn't let him scored any points in the 9 minutes he played. He was 0-2 from the field.

And in their win (98-94) against the Grizz. , a game I was at, he scored 2 points (1-3 from the field) and grabbed 6 rebounds in 24 minutes.

And guess what jsm, HoopsHype reports that Antonio McDyess is no longer untouchable anymore, once considered by Scottie Layden when he was GM, he thought that Dice would be the cornerstone of their franchise...and now that Isiah Thomas is around, he realizes their problems, man the Knicks have such a bad infrastructure--recently waiving Slavko Vranes, telling Maciej Lampe to work his butt off or else he'll get TRADED, and putting Clarence Weatherspoon on waivers. And yes, Kurt Thomas and Othella Harrington are still on the block, and Don Chaney is still possible to get fired. Whew...thats a lot of headlines
