More SIXER rumors:

Postby Shaq Fan on Tue Feb 17, 2004 12:24 pm

I heard this one, and it is most realistic of happening:

Sixers get:

Hudson

Magic get:

Snow

Wolves get:

Howard

I heard the 76ers would send Snow to Orlando for Juwan then send him to Minny for Troi Hudson.

That be extremely bad trade for the orlando becuase they lose one of there leading scorers for Snow...However it be great for the T-wolves becuase they get another big man and that would help being out west

I know a lot of you will probably disagree with this, but I think the Sixers need to move Iverson. I'll be the 1st to tell you he's a great player, but as an organization, I think they need to move on. Face it, they're never going to win a championship with a team built around Iverson and the whole situation is just a trainwreck waiting to happen. As long as Iverson's there, they'll be a playoff team, but never a title contender. Yes, they made it to the finals a couple years back, but you can't realistically say that they ever had a chance to win it all. Right now, there are 3 teams in the East that are head and shoulders above every other team in the conference (Pacers, Nets, Pistons) and I don't see the Sixers ever overtaking any of those 3 teams in the near future. I've always been a firm believer that you can only be mediocre for so long before it's time to make a change, and I think it's the Sixers time to make that change. Trade Iverson while he's still in his prime and start to build a solid team from the ground up. The departure of Larry Brown started this process and now it's time to move Iverson also.

in all due seriousness, trades that are declined should deserve to have their threads locked :jam2:

It's 6PM eastern time tomorrow, and I doubt there will be A LOT of trades.

Maybe 2 trades, I don't think either will be too big of a deal.
