Mourning in!!

Mourning is goin to the Nets, so where does that leave Mt. Mutombo. Mutombo is signed til the 2004/2005 season and is making 17- 19 mil. What do you guys think about Mutombo coming to the Lakers and backing up Shaq? :jam2:

19M? No I don't think so. If the Lakers had 19M to spend, I would hope it would be for something better. I really think our roster is set. If we were going to add someone big, it might be better if he could swing between C and PF, young and athletic. Lakers still do not have alot of quick/athletic players (beyond Kobe, George, Payton).

FIRST OF ALL.....WE DONT HAVE ENOUGH CONTRACTS TO SEND OVER TO COVER THE 19 MIL SO THAT WONT HAPPEN....ESPN RADIO IS REPORTING TODAY THAT ZO IS NOW NOT GOING TO THE NETS

Everyone is trippin!!! No one is goin to sign him after he is a free agent for more then 10 mil!!! Even less maybe!! He is a free agent after next year. Maybe the Lakers can get him for the mid level also!!!

next year we have kobe to resign and that will take care of that even with the cap opening up by almost 4 million a year per team. i dont think we can play around much next year just stand pat.
is shaq satisfied with three titles and continuing to blow up to 400 lbs or will he get the other hunger back and get down to 320 and win three more?? GO LAKERS 2004-06 CHAMPS!!!
