Rather amazingly, @MettaWorldPeace (knee) could play one week from today vs. Spurs. Lakers need defense, and ...
Metta's accelerated recovery from surgery for torn cartilage in his left knee is such that it's not even impossible that he returns Friday vs. Golden State, which is the third-to-last game of the regular season.
Metta will run at 90 percent body weight tomorrow and then ramp that up to 100 percent Tuesday. He already started shooting yesterday and today. If no complications by Wednesday, maybe a good individual workout Thursday and the game Friday vs. the Warriors.
Someone here still think we don't need him??
“@PhilJackson11: @paugasol @MettaWorldPeace you have to know Ronnie to understand his dedication to play. He’s a great teammate.”
