Happy for Ron. He gets to play for his hometown team. Good luck in New York, Ron.

Is he enough to help the Knicks win? Shouldn't we hoping the Knicks lose so we get Caramel?

Good for him... I'm happy he's there.

And now I'll officially move this to the NBA Discussion.

at least it wasn't with the tenants...good luck, Ron...may your elbow wander towards Lebron's head when you play the Heat

Al Iannazzone: The first year of World Peace's deal is for roughly $1.6 million; what was left on mini-midlevel after knicks signed Prigioni. The second years is a player option. Twitter @Al_Iannazzone

Glad for Ron. He gets to play at home and Melo will get a boost playing with Ron.
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

Agreed. Maybe he did think of the Clippers but decided against it out of consideration to the Lakers.

One of the most entertaining players I have ever watched, on the floor and off. Ron will always be up on the list for his play in the 2010 Finals. I know Ariza was a big part of the 2009 team and may have served as a better player in the long run, but without Ron in the finals in 2010, Paul Pierce doesn't get contained and Celtics probably win it.

I'm glad the Clips didn't sign him cause he sucks. He's more of a liability than an asset at this point of his career.

I'm glad he gets to play for ny. Maybe he can help slow down LeBron in the east.

He's not slowing down Lebron. He'll add toughness to that team; not much else. He's slowly declining and in two years will retire, IMO. Decent move for NY, though...

He doesn't do anything to put them over the top, but he helps them as a team with attitude and with fire.

He just doesn't have the talent any more to play at this level.

He and Chandler can really help stress the importance of defense.

All I hope for is that he at least hits Bron with one bow next season
