Why wouldn't you want them to get Brand? I would enjoy beating a Spur team with some fight in em.

As for the lakers, showtime is back n i cant wait to see payton throwin alley oops to Kobe and Malone throwin Chris Webber behind the back passes to Shaq

Well DC is about to sign a 2 year $10-12 million deal with the 76ers:

The Wolves are nearly completing a vet. min. contract to Gary Trent and are very interested in adding JJ for the LLE (but that would hurt their cap space...so you never know):
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=k ... &type=lgns

George Lynch signed a 2 year extension with the Hornets:
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=f ... &type=lgns

The Heat are about to present an offer sheet to Lamar Odom:

I think Mitch and Buss are content with the roster that we have and I wouldn't blame them....but I still would rather hear the Lakers making the news with something else besides the Kobe hearings :bang:

Exel who wanted to join the Knicks, might now be able to. The Knicks and Warriors are discussing a trade that would bring Van Exel to NY and send pf Kurt Thomas and pg Charlie Ward to Golden State.

Bimbo Coles wants to jon the Pacers.

The Portland and NJ trade rumors have started back up and a trade is still possible. Nets are looking to unload Mt. Mutombo. They are now saying a 3rd team would probably be involved, and very well could be the Raptors. The current players involved in such a trade would be-the Raptors would get Mutombo (reports are that they are infatuated with him), they're offering to send Antonio Davis to the Blazers, Wallace would end up in NJ, and Martin in Portland.

id like to see van exel in New York, i mean look at their starting lineup IF mcdyess is healthy:

Harrington
Mcdyess
Van Horn
Houston
Van Exel

I dont know who will fill that 5 position, maybe Lampe will jump into tha starting lineup somehow? And i heard New York might unload either Weatherspoon or Harrington in tha trade and possibly get Dampier or Foyle in return...

wouldnt be surprised if New York tries to get Dampier AND Van Exel for Thomas, Ward, and Weatherspoon/Harrington

The Knicks will look REALLY good next year if Mcdyess is healthy
