I dunno, even if the Heat get to the Finals again/Win another championship, I feel like the long-term legacy is permanently tainted after falling so spectacularly to SAS in the way that they did. Losing that series so badly had the retroactive effect of also reminding us that they *barely* won the 2013 series save for something of a miracle play. While they also lost their first Finals together pretty easily.
To the casual fan, the whole 'built vs. bought' line has stuck and the overall perception of the Heat has, I think taken a pretty serious knock that winning more championships won't likely change, especially if their tactic is to double down on even more stackage. Flash forward 10 years and I think we'll be looking back on these Heat teams with a bit of a laugh, highlighting an awkward and gaudy period of the NBA where we lost sight of what actually mattered -- the sport itself.
