Melo 22/29 from the field for 56 points in 3 quarters :man4: They up by 30+ points but Melo is only 6 points from breaking the new Garden record (61 by Kobe) Do they keep him in to let him challenge it?

Melo does start in the 4th... 2 at the line gives him 58

People are probably going to start murmuring about the sportsmanship of leaving him in when they're up 35 in the 4th just so he can stat-pad. But I dunno, f it, it's kinda fun.

I'd have let him get it. When you have a chance at something like that, you give it to him.

Big game for Melo... probably could have gotten 70+ if the game had been closer....

Best part of the stat line is the zero assists..... :man10: No one to pass to anyway on that team

It took way to long to get him that 62nd point. His teammates are kind of special. lol.

Isaiah Thomas is like the new era Allen Iverson. That little s*** can score at will and he's a feisty mother effer as well.

Carmelo was on fire. I didn't care for people saying it wasn't a great scoring game because of the team he played, people would do that to Kobe too, so I don't agree with it. I love looking at players that may not come around ever so often in the future, so I salvage the moment every chance I get.

However I was scared he was gonna best Kobe's 81 points :man10: I was praying Mike Woodson took him out, he had 7+ minutes left for pete's sake and he was not going to stop lol!

Several players have hit 10 three pointers in a game this season, testing Kobe's record of 12, surprisingly even when there's plenty of time to get 2 or 3 more so far it hasn't happened yet. Terrence Ross currently has 10 makes with about a minute remaining.

Terrence Ross, a role player for the Raptors, just put up 51 points against the Clippers.

The last time I remember a role player doing that was Tony Delk. I think he had 50 points about 10 years ago.

9-3 Without the Great Paul..... ball is moving.... players are moving.... team is scoring more.... they actually look very good. The slow pick and roll stuff that makes them very defendable isn't there right now.

I think Paul hurts them by his antics. He plays for whistles too often in my opinion. If he just played the way he can there would be very little people could do with the Clips on the offensive end.

Actually I think he has some talent to become maybe not a star but a reliable scorer. But it's interesting what a trade can do for a franchise by just sending away Rudy Gay :man10:

Arron Afflalo didn't make the top 10 for backcourt players in the all star voting. He's been kind of under the radar.

Anyway, I think everybody on CL likes him. What's also impressive about this guy is that he continues to improve every year. If you take a look at his stats, virtually every stat continues to go up every year. It's not just an increase in minutes either since you see a similar trend when you adjust them for minutes.

Man... the Bucks are very hard to watch... I can't believe there fans can put up with a horrid season like this... they are worse then the Bobcats team that win below 10 games in the lock out season.... I wonder if that franchise is possibly gonna get moved in the future.

Paperclips and Wiz are in a pretty good game right now. Clips up 3 with 240 left
