It took Brooks 6 games and a half to realize he has to match Heat smallball lineup and leaves Porkins on the bench .... another genius coach

Ginger Spice is going at LBJ in the Clips vs Heat game.

Heat were up by 19. Lebron just hits a 3 to bring the Heat back up 5.

apparently Miami was up 14 in the 4th. Up until the last 2 plays (Layup just made) I didn't know LBJ was on the floor. In fact, the announcers said he has 7 (of 28) in the 4th. I just watched the last 5 in two plays. His team is choking away a lead and the big dawg isn't taking the bull by the horns.

Ginger Spice on the other hand has been the go-to guy for the paperclips. He is on full attack mode right now.

Bosh blows the 3 and then Griff rushes the turn around (fouls Anderson).

Miami up 107-101 after anderson splits the pair

Blake misses but gets his board for the layup (40 points) and Ray responds with the tear drop. Griff finds Jordan for the dunk.

109-105

OK... Lebron has Collins on him ISO'd at the top of the key and instead of attacking he throws a rocket past Wade for the turn over. Killer? :man10:

Crawford drains the duece in Shuttlesworth face. 109-107 Heat with 1 min left.

Just looked Darren Collison is 6' and 175lbs while Lebron is 6'8" and 250 yet son didn't go to town on him. :man10:

Heat lucky they have Shuttlesworth hits a huge 3 on the ball watching Crawford. I don't know why anyone on any team leaves him open. Bonehead.

112-107 42.4 sec left. Clips ball.

Lebron steps in and gets the charge on Crawford.

Matt Barnes makes two. Now Bron back up and sinks 2. Heat up 6 with 23 secs.

Paperclips broke rule 1 for the Heat.... The only guy with balls late in the game is Allen. Don't leave Allen. 115-109 Heat

What's so difficult to understand in " don't leave Ray Allen open" ? ... Wade was out of control and Eandre was there to contest ... players are often packing the paint for no reason ...

I really have never understood how anyone leaves Ray open. Ray Allen and Reggie Miller should never be left open. Miller retired. So that leaves one damn guy. Teams are so stupid.

That's one of the worst sequence of calls I've ever seen. The foul call if horrible, and the tech for the reaction is just piling on. I see whether it's Stern or Silver the refs still rule with impunity, no accountability whatsoever, and they will toss you if you dare question them.

I agree with the foul call. Lowry stuck his foot out on the shot. I don't agree with the tech. If a player simply runs away from the scene because he's emotional about it, the player shouldn't be T'd like that.

I disagree, IMO he didn't stick his foot out, he call the ball while in motion and fired it up immediately while still moving. That caused his legs to drift on the shot, it was all momentum. One of his legs came out a little more than usual at the very end of the shot, but I still don't think it was intentional, to me he was clearly trying to make the shot, not get fouled. I know there is a new Reggie Miller rule, but we've seen Nick Young do worse with his legs all season and he always gets the call in his favor.

Should have been a no call. He stuck the leg out but only to get balance. The technical is warranted under the letter of that rule. Demonstrative action can be either toward or away from the play/ref.

That said..... what a CS rule in the first place for a Technical foul but it it's a rule then call it. I think the reason everyone is seeing the other way is because the refs don't call that 90% of the time.

I too think the foul shouldn't have been called. Miles was on a turn and off balance for the shot. The contact by both players should of resulted in a no call. The T was horrible. The Refs have liberty to swallow that whistle if he wanted to. I mean the swallow them a billion times with guys like CP3. The ref has to understand the moment he just made a huge call that took away a made 3 pointer that would of brought the team within 1 score.

I was looking at the highlights against the Cavs.. And man, talk about a mess. Poor Kyrie looks miserable there. And so does Deng. And I think the Lakers enjoyed that win as a big eff you to Mike Brown and the management of the CAVS. Other than Spite against all of Cavs upper management, that win felt like nothing. We beat a heaping mess of poo, and I'm sure we'll lose the next 5 or so. just a thought as I saw our terrible team beat another terrible team lol.

Don't disagree at all Puff…. I did say that is was the letter of the rule however. They do swallow their whistles waaaaay to often and you definitely won't see me disagreeing with criticism of how Paul is officiated…. :man10:

so…. we agree on officiating…. wow….. this is a strange season…….

i almost never do this, but i'll stick up for the refs here. the leg kick is supposed to be a foul. what's stupid is that they don't call it most of the time; if we as fans get mad when they make the rare but correct call, this feeds the thing i hate most about the stern-era nba: unspoken rules that are applied unevenly, often in strategic fashion.

i also agree that they called the T by the book as well.

so, what i'm angry about is that more than half the time, they tend to botch both of those calls willfully, to the extent that when they actually call the game by the rules, we're shocked and appalled.

all that said, i don't like the T rules, some knee jerk reaction needs to be allowed, imo. these are humans. i do like the leg kick rule, though. i'm against any aspects of the game that are introduced to play the officials instead of basketball. this includes most things james harden does.
