Nick might not stay in GS & where Patterson might end up

The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports that NVE has already demanded a trade from his new team, the Warriors.

They traded their best player for someone who already wants out of there. It usually take a player longer than a few weeks to decide that they want out of GS, but I guess he is seeing they light quicker than most of the other players.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that Cleveland management might be pursuing Ruben, they have been interested in him for some time now, but he was with Portland, but now he is wanting a trade, so the Cavs could be a possibility.

golden state would be insane to pull off a trade where nickie is out. they got the point guard they wanted and who better besides kidd in his hometown to fill in that need. he would provide the fire power they needed desperetly and i think that van exel would be more than glad to be a starter again. If he scored more than 40 in Dallas comin off the bench, imagine the kinda damage he'll do here.

GS won't trade him. They want him...LOL, when the team likes the playa and the playa is against the team, that creates a controversy. I think instead of getting Exel, they could have gotten an experienced PG this offseason through Rod Strickland or Mark Jackson or sumthin//

actually, if Exel is runnin' the show for the JailBlazers, then no one would ever get up shots--Portland has a multitude of good players, but Van Exel has a longtime history of ballhogging and not playing D, and that combination don't suit the Blazers. They'd rather stick with weed in Stoudamire instead.

Nick's been with more teams than an NBA groupie! :man10:

I agree, swol. His attitude has always messed him up on teams. That Cancun stunt pissed off Shaq so bad, he sent him packin'.

I agree with you swol... remember when he shoved the ref over the announcer's table? That was classic stuff. It's great to see you display your rhyming skills too at the end :man1: .

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

Nice to see how many times Exel can be called an A-hole. He's just a putrid little worm who just squanders and doesn't try hard enough, therefore he doesn't fit with any team even though he is a true star.

He's a great player... but he's VERY streaky and never can fit in with a team like you said... it's a shame no one has gotten his attitude in check. I gotta say he didn't act up too much in Dallas though...
