the Dallas/Golden State trade isnt official.. ?

nba.com has no news of it

warriors.com and mavs.com both still feature their pre-trade roster

what are the chances of it falling through?

I highly doubt it will fall through, because ESPN has already reported the trade, and they aren't going to report on a trade if it isn't going to happen. It was all over ESPN and ESPNNEWS, and they have already said NVE was disappointed that he got traded, so they are probably just working out the minor details of the trade before they release all the info about it.

the trade won't occur until Monday, when NBA offices are open. The offixes ain't open during the weekends. 'Sides, as jsm0331 pointed out, they need to work out the minor details of the trade before it goes through.

Congrats to 'Twan and Nick for finding new homes, by the way. :man12:

Well if u read his topic, it says that he heard no news of it on the NBA website, which they dont update often, and that same night he posted it, I didn't find any news on the deal too. So we posted before they even updated the site.

Yea minor details would be stuff like you have to pass the team physical, make sure the trade works under the salary cap rules, etc etc

Im truly excited for this trade, i felt bad for the mavs all summer they had been ditched by players like malone, mourning, etc etc. They are finally doin somethin good, and dang to get a Superstar type player like JAMISON in return for an 11 year veteran guard who might have already passed his prime...i think this trade is pretty dandy for the mavs!

I don't know about this trade for the Mavs, they need defense not another scorer. Yea Antawn is great, but he's a below average defender at best. Why didn't they just trade Nick to Atlanta for Theo Ratliff, he would've been a great fit. The Mavs won't sniff the Western Conference Finals without any D...

I love Nick and all but he's not THAT valuable
