Nuggets get Doleac

It looks like Doleac will be playing for the Nuggets

Sportsline: The Denver Nuggets were awarded center Michael Doleac on a waiver claim Friday, scrapping the New York Knicks' plans to re-sign him.

Doleac was to join the Nuggets in Orlando for their game Saturday night. To make room for him on the active roster, center Francisco Elson was placed on the injured list.

Aw man, I really wanted to sign him as a backup...

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

BEST VIDEO EVER ... AND AND THE SECOND BEST.

There is always Baker...and we would get him for only like $300,000...I totally think that it is worth that money. But then again, I don't want Malone to get rubbed the wrong way. Malone is our guy and if we do sign someone...Phil needs to make sure that they scoot on down to the bench once the Mailman gets back.

Well the good news is we signed Doleac yesterday, and the day before we signed Baker, and today we sign Caffey.

HAHA like that....

:man1:
But seriously all of these signings really makes me happy...now that other teams got those players we want we don't need to talk about them and make useless rumors about them being signed by us and all....I hope that Baker, Caffey, Hill, Handlogten and Charles Smith all get signed soon enough too so none of these rumors go flying about the house.

And now, lets talk about the benefits that Denver probably got out of this signing, "probably" being the "huge" word there, but it was a good signing for them--they needed a shooter that can shoot off of their pick and roll and Doleac is a big man who can fit that bill. He's a cross-breed between a Travis Knight--Chris Kaman--Brad Miller--and Bryant Reeves but when all his said and done, you'll see that this guy can really shoot--just needs time to find his niche especially since that he was a lottery pick once. Doleac can come off the bench and bring some jumper spark even though he lacks the defensive toughness and athletic ability to play some D...still of course that took away NYK's chances of signing him and now all of the rumors circulating about him can officially stop.
