Lebron is gunning for it ...lol

He'll need over 30 points in the 2nd half to break the record...

LeBron finishes the 1st half with 28 (Kobe finished with 34).

If LeBron says he seriously was not coming going after the record he is a liar. He's a great player and can really score, but how often do we see him put up 28 points in a a half, I'm sorry that's too coincidental for me.

Kobe finished with 26 at the half for his 81 point game...

But he did it all within the flow of the offense, didn't you see? He was just masterful in that half. He wasn't forcing anything.

I know, I wasn't trying to downgrade Bron's half or anything...

The Lebron hate is crazy, some people talk about Kobe's game not being appreciated? Lebron has 28-5-5... so what if he's chasing 61 or not, or whether he's going to lie about it. Everyone wants to break records, but who's going to go out there and say yea, tonight I am going to go for Kobe's record.

He's not Arenas.

I can't believe Mike Breene is calling out LBJ for the ballhogging. Shocking.

I'll give him credit, but don't say you "don't care" and go out and take pretty much every shot.

The difference between this game and last night's is this game has been close all game, whereas it really wasn't close most of the game last night.

I don't hate LeBron, I hate how he's worshiped and I hate fake humility. We know he thinks he's great, he's got the chosen 1 tattoo. That statement about team play and not individual accolades is funny, I'm sorry if you think laughing at the hypocrisy is hate, but it's a joke. If he wants to gun for Kobe's 61 go ahead, that we actually have 2 players in the NBA that are capable of doing that is amazing, but don't be all fake humble about it.

What was he suppose to say? He has 8 assists to go with it, he's giving the new york fans a show.

If Lebron really cools off, NY has a good chance to steal this game.

I figured he would shoot for the big Trip-Doub. It will still be a great game and ESPN is already gobbling it up
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

Wonder how ESPN will twist it Lebron gets to the 50s or even 60s but the Cavs end up losing the game.
