Official LBJ thread: Leading from behind?

Paul and Lebron, who would play off ball, I dislike this NBA where everyone wants to play with friends. Rivalries aren't as competitive.

What would the Clippers have to give up to get LeDouche? Blake Griffin I'm assuming?

don't know how i'd feel about lebron coming to LA

i highly doubt it happens but i'd have a hard time supporting a guy like lebron at first. if lebron and his little group of friends decide they want to play together in LA next, I definitely would be 100% against it. that's all a bunch of BS and the main reason why today's NBA sucks

Either Griffin/Crawford or Jordan/Crawford/Dudley or Redick/Matt Barnes...

Something like that.

If I'm the Clippers, I trade CP3/Jordan for Lebron.

A frontcourt of Lebron/Griffin would be insane.

LeBron the talent.... I'd be ecstatic

LeBron the personality..... ummm..... well..... I'd have to not watch the post game show is the nicest thing I have to say....

I'd be less against this than the Howard or CP3 acquisitions.

ESPN is in peak form today.

Windhorst: "He (LeBron) doesn't necessarily need the absolute top of the line talent to win"

He doesn't? He didn't have it last season and lost. Have we forgotten a week later?

Talking head anchor: "Kobe Bryant, for me, it meant something for Kobe to be one of the highest paid guys in the NBA, I don't get sense about LeBron, am I wrong?"

Really? He hasn't taken less or more than he was going to make yet, but already he's generous, at least that's what the talking heads were instructed to say apparently.

^ I think that was a set up question handed to the guy because LeBron's camp is leaking that he would be willing to take a salary cut for the right pieces. At least someone said that this morning on the Dan Patrick Show.

I'm not sure how much of a cut exactly and who the right piece is, but that's what he said.

Absolutely NOT!!!!

I proudly admit that I hate LaB***** and I never want him on ANY Lakers team.

Do I love the Lakers more than I hate LaB*****, yes of course. By a mile. So if he was on the team, I'd have to support him, because I love the Lakers so much, but I would not be happy that we got him.

Makes me wonder if Lebron did come here, who's jersey would you see people wearing more at the games? Lebron or Kobe's?

There's already a love/hate relationship with Kobe so they'd do Kobe like Heat fans did wade and burn all of their Kobe jerseys and buy a lifetime supply of LeBron jerseys.

How come LeBron isn't called out for ring chasing? At least Tim and Kobe stuck with the same team and just added a few fitting pieces.

good point and good question.

Probably LBJ because its a new jersey, but in due time Kobe. Because even if Lebron came here Kobe would never pull a Wade and say its Lebron's team. The Lakers will always be Kobe's team until the day he hangs umm up.

probably because the major media outlets like ESPN do nothing but baby the guy and make him out to be a god while ignoring his true legacy

Go back to Cleveland. If you want LA, go play for Doc Rivers.

I'd cheer for LeBronze if he became a Laker. Everything negative I've said about him would do a quick 180...

It would be hard to accept LeBron at first... I had a really hard time warming up to Karl Malone when he came, but as the season went on, I began to appreciate his game more & more...

So... I'm sure LeBron could eventually win me over too.

Lebron is going to be 30 years old next season.

He's in his prime, but how much longer is that going to last? If we're talking about 2007 Lebron, I'd be more in favor. We'd be able to get 7 or 8 years of high level play out of him like we did with Shaq when he left Orlando.

I want us to build something similar to what San Antonio has done with Duncan, Ginobli, and Parker. Picking up 30 year old free agents and paying them max money isn't the way to accomplish that, even if they are the best player in the game.
