Well the Ring and MVP did wonders for him. He moved into the top 25 (25th actually). Another chip, mvp and strong numerical season should get him up around 21-22 in the matrix.

Is that your personal ranking?

Lebron actually has 3 MVPs, and he's most likely going to end up with a couple more titles when it's all said and done. The dude the best player in the league. He's a flat out beast, anybody who denies that is blind.

I think he's top 15 already. Another ring, Finals MVP, and MVP should put him in the top 10.

2 rings, 2 FMVP, 4 MVPs and some of the greatest statistical production we've ever seen and you would only have him at 21-22? No idea how you figure that.

I have him at #12 right now and if he won another FMVP+MVP this season he would probably move to #8 on my list.

Congrats on becoming the youngest to 20,000 points LeBron. I'm sure Kevin Durant will have that in a little bit, on top of that he came out of college not out of High School. But congrats nontheless I guess.

It took Kobe to get 5 titles and the other three people didn't even consider combined with his individual accolades to even put Kobe in their top 20. But All LeBron needed was a few individuals accolades and 1 NBA title and people already have him in their top 10.

I wish Kobe would have gotten more MVP's in his prime, probably still wouldn't put him in people's top 10 until he won those other two titles without Shaq, damn shame.

They were comparing him and KAJ for the scoring record on S***center today......

He could have it by 2020-2024. :man10:

Do they not realize how absurd of a length of time it is until then.

They do their best to make sure we know that we are watching greatness in the making. Maybe they realized the mistake they made with dismissing Kobe all those years and didn't want to do the same thing twice

TO answer your question.... No, the thread title has been the same since the Olympics. They usually represent what ESPN is talking about at the time. Jazzygirl bumped the thread from the last time it was active hence the current title. Hope that answers your question.

Got it -- figured it was BSPN crap.

He's been making a case for himself though, since this thread launched. Depending on titles, he may or may not finish in the top 10 NBA GOAT.

^I don't think anyone knocks the overall skill of Lebron. I know I have been one of his biggest critics but he is one of the best in the game today and he will be in the NBA's top greats list for sure. The problem is celebrating him before he has done enough to warrent the praise. The biggest issue is that he gets a pass where others (namely Kobe) didn't get one. If he didn't win then it was his team. If he won it was all him. Most of the hate for Lebron comes from two things 1. His arrogance/attitude and 2. the Media constant blowjob of the guy.

For the record I still don't think he is a great as everyone makes him. I am not convinced that once athleticism leaves he won't be able to adapt enough to stay at this level. I could be wrong I know he has improved greatly on his post game which before the Olympics was atrocious. His shot is still horrible to me but effective for him. Listen to ESPN long enough you would say he has no flaws at any part of his game.

Where do you think he'll end up on the all-time scoring list? He can easily rack up 2000 point seasons for the next 4 years or so.

He is also averaging, career-wise, 27 ppg; which places him 3rd place all-time (behind MJ and Wilt).
