That was sick and props to the victim for taking it cool like.
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

am i the only person in the world who thinks catching a lob and finishing hard over someone 10 inches shorter than you isn't all that impressive? i've probably seen at least ten dunks better than that one this year. maybe my evaluation system is off.

I know for me that if it'd been Kobe doing that to Nate Robinson I'd be jumping up and down. Or if it were Shaq doing it to Mike Bibby back in the day. I'd have been giggling like a school girl.

disagree. i wouldn't be going nuts if dwight did it, either.

kobe's dunk on josh smith was far more impressive, as it was a play created by him, against a larger elite shotblocker, in crunch time.

i clicked a link expecting to see something otherworldly. i saw a really big guy who can jump really high converting a lob on a pg.

I think you're off on this one man. I thought Howard's dunk on Jrue Holiday was nasty a year or two back. This one was the same situation, but the result was nastier.

I am partially with abeer on this one.

But that's because I think dunk is an extremely overrated part of basketball. May be because I grew up watching and playing European basketball more so than NBA.

Watching this Thunder Spurs game, with no Parker, makes me re-think whether we can beat the Spurs in a series. They are just a machine on offense, and despite few athletes, play hard and smart defense and do the fundamentals, like boxing out, drawing charges, helping the helper and having guys constantly moving and getting back in transition.

A lot of the Spurs run came with Fisher on the floor, however..... :man11:

it took an 18 game winning streak in a weak conference for the heat to catch up to the spurs. id say theyre pretty good and want no part in playing them or the thunder in the 1st round.

You mean pick on someone your own size? I am more impressed with Jordan's dunk OVER Gasol AND Bynum last season in an exhibition game. He was not set-up on that one. Reminds me of James' dunk over John Lucas. A smaller player over a larger one would be more impressive. People should look up the Carter over Mourning slam...

Nah. It looked like he was going to take a foul, but Westbook mistimed his shot attempt. Neal couldn't even get to him in time for the foul to be taken. Westbook didn't execute it well at all.

Looked like Neal touched him with both hands just before the shot to me ... sure Westbrook released it a bit early but a foul should have been called ... fine for me though as OKC is the team who gets the most phantom calls since ...

I don't know. To me it looked like Westbrook tried to fire away too quickly. Neal reaches out, but he draws his arms back because he saw Westbrook taking the shot.

Neal drawing his arms back is what limited the call.
