OKC has not one single player who can make Lebron work a little bit ... even if he's the best player in the league , buckets are coming way too easy for him against OKC ... they need a strong 3 ala Metta/Melo against him ...

I'm still not seeing enough progress and maturity team wise from OKC ... pb is they won't beat the Heat just based on athleticism and individual talent as they can do with the rest of the league

My hate for both of these teams is so strong it borders on irrational, so I cannot watch this game for longer than a few minutes at a time. I want them both to lose, and that can't happen so it's almost irritating to watch because I can't root for either team, but I can't root against both at the same time.

Durant doing what Durant SHOULD be doing. Taking the crucial shot instead of deferring to others.

Westbrick was fouled on that shot, but somehow I don't feel sorry for him.

Let's hope OKC won't get out of the West because I see no difference with last season Finals ...

WOW. It was like the NBA Finals all over again the way Miami was getting calls and OKC wasn't. What a disgrace.
Every time I begin to ask, "Is he really as great as I think he is?" ...He proves that he is.
Every time I begin to wonder...He proves it...That is why I won't lose hope in him.
You know who I am talking about.

Yup. Heat was getting calls despite the fact that OKC had taken 19 more FTA's than them. You're just bitter that the Heat won. Both teams got fishy calls going against each other and in the end, The Heat control the game while OKC made a lot of boneheaded plays to finish the game.

Bill simmons is a HATER!!!!! He needs to goooo!!! The man is so disrespectful to magic. Magic was excited about the lakers play. And bill said, "Man I wish I had magic as a college professor magics all like, "the lakers are back, the lakers are back" after 1 game, they're still a .500 team!" That was just so disrespectful. And when he immitated magic, he made a sort of whiny voice. Wilbon immedeately came to magics defense and pointed out the previous wins in the streak. He truly needs to go. Hating on the lakers doesn't even annoy me as much as him clowning magic does!! :disagree: :disagree: :disagree:

That's 14th straight wins for the Clippers, and still no Chauncey and Hill, and they hold the best record in the NBA. Not bad..

It was Game 3 and Game 4 all over again ... plenty of dumb mistakes down the stretch ... blowing fastbreaks when they got number ... attacking the paint 1 on 3 instead of slowing down ...

Miami didn't do jack down the stretch and still won

OKC has a bone to pick with Miami and they let it beat them. Westbrook especially, he gets angry and hotheaded and starts playing like crap, but the team overall just seems to play dumb against Miami.

No joke, but I honestly think the Clippers could win a championship. They have a deep roster, chemistry, a great point guard and big in Griffin(flopping notwithstanding) as well as solid, reliable role players. Win streaks are obviously a result of many things beyond just a team's talent(07-08 Rockets come to mind) and there is the chance that they kind of average out towards the mean, but on paper they really do have as good a team as any.

I'm amazed that the Celtics are still able to win games like that.

Didn't watch any of the other games.

don't buy the clips as champions. as best record in the regular season? looks likely unless paul goes down.

depth means a lot less in the playoffs, though, and that's one of the main ways they're beating people.

Clips as champs???

LOL

Not today, not ever.

Their win streak is impressive, but no wins against any real teams except Chicago, and Chicago is only 15-12. :man10: This is the same Clippers team that previously had a 4 game skid, ending with a home loss to the Pelicans minus Anthony Davis. :man1:

As much as I want the Lakers to snap their 19-game win streak, the Clips are probably not gonna get there.

Yeah but they're a different team now. They are playing great defense adn they're blowing literally everyone out. They have multiple guys that can take a game over, and a few them are on the BENCH. They are pretty scary and really their only challenge is what to do with billups and hill when they get back....barnes and green have played really well....same with bledsoe and crawford...somebody will get cut from the rotation....im betting it'll be green but he has been quietly solid for them. The clippers are also managing the minutes of their star players really well...cp3 and bg only avg 32mpg. They grew up last year in the playoffs with that game 7 road victory against Memphis...even though they were swept next round, that's something that every team needs to go through. OKC went through it, and now the CLippers are going through it. They have a good mix of vets who have been there and young guys that grew up in the playoffs last year. Also, DeAndre came back with an improved post game and they go to him sometimes.

Very impresssed by the Clipppers and they're VERY under the radar this year....last year they came in SUPER overhyped and I hated them cuz I thought they didn't deserve the hype. THIS YEAR though, nobody is paying attention, and to be quite honest, they deserve some hype and attention. 14 game winning streak, don't care who they played, is still impressive in today's league. Then again, they are the Clippers...they don't have the hype and pressure of a Lakers team....every single team gets up to play against the Lakers....opposing teams don't view the Clippers this way yet. But soon, they might.

Yeah, they put together a very good team. Barnes and Crawford are surprising me. Then again, CP3 can make others better, so I should have expected that.

It's just that even if they're the #1 seed with 62 wins, they still can't beat any of the top echelon teams in a 7 game series, I don't think.

Well, maybe they have a small chance against SA because you never know when they'll just get swept out of the blue. But OKC and Miami? Not enough maturity and experience to beat them. Give them a couple more years together and then we'll talk.

dallas got robbed on that kaman face smack no call. they had the ball up 1 and should have been on the line with one minute left. mismatch the other way leads to the westbrook jumper that gave okc the lead for good. dallas choked after that, but they should have been playing from ahead, not behind. bs.
