wtf was that, utah? they've been very tough at home all year, and they get absolutely pounded by an inferior team that's on their heels in terms of playoff positioning?

i'm mad because a) the lakers need houston to lose the games they're supposed to lose (i.e., at utah). houston's been dutifully doing that pretty much all year. if they break that pattern, the lakers basically can't catch them. b) i doubt utah loses many more games at home, and they play a ton of them. plus, they'll get mo williams back, and he's important as their only pg who can score and best overall perimeter player. the lakers never had much of a shot at catching them.

houston and portland are the targets, and houston getting the win last night was a blow.

Normally I wouldn't put much stock into this, but that blown call cost us in the standings. :man2:

^ While I would have much rather preferred if Portland lost isn't Dallas pretty close behind us in the standings?

Pistons have less than 10 million committed in cap room in 2014/2015 now. Last time they had cap room they splurged on Charlie V and Ben Gordon.

I'm watching a feed of the Den Hou game right now. Wow the Nuggets commentators have no energy whatsoever. They don't even care when the Nuggets score, total opposite of Billy Mac who blows his load over every Laker basket.

The Clippers are playing like... well, the old Clippers we knew, against the Raptors.

I have this gut feeling that CP3's kneecap is worse than "day-to-day" like the Clips are reporting.

Indiana spanking Miami, I'd love to see a playoff rematch. Still can't believe they blew that 3-1 lead they had.

Uncle Drew destroyed Brickbrook and the whole Thunder D in the clutch ...

Another great talent wasted on a poor team

Man if CP3 was out for the season, I think the Clips would fall out of the playoffs. That's stretching it, but damn they would get bounced with ease in the 1st round.

The CP3 bruised knee cap should start to concern Clips fans.

To add to that, they have a pretty brutal February. They could realistically only win two games out of the whole bunch.

Orlando and Charlotte..........the rest are against quality teams.

His and Griffin's health are the main reasons a Clipper fan should be concerned. I've been saying it from the beginning. All of their supposedly amazing depth is really just a collection of decent players who are elevated by a "pass first" offense. Lamar isn't good anymore, Ronny is limited, Hill is ancient and he looks pretty old.

I think the only legit depth they have is Crawford, Bledsoe, and (surprisingly) WIllie Green. The rest? Eh.

Don't think we'll make up any ground tonight with the Blazers barely winning and I doubt the Jazz lose either.

Sucks that Portland won tonight in a close game where Minny had multiple chances to win...would be nice if Utah lost at home tonight.

Kings are effing stupid. Thomas and Salmons literally spent 20 seconds of the shot clock just past mid court standing with the ball and arguing what they should do. :bang:

This is in overtime with less than 2 minutes left.

Last season and the current one considerably lower my dissapointment about the CP3 nixed deal ...

It's clear the knee injury in 2010 wasn't a one time thing .... he can't stay healthy

As Doc pointed out, Floppers remaining schedule in Feb

02/06 Orlando Away
02/08 Miami Away
02/10 New York Away
02/11 Philadelphia Away
02/13 Houston Home
02/14 LA Lakers Away
02/21 San Antonio Home
02/23 Utah Home
02/26 Charlotte Home
02/28 Indiana Away

They can easily go 2-8 or 3-7 if chris paul doesnt come back soon.
