^Hard to stomach either one winning BUT since Riles, Bobby Mac and Pfund are with the South Beach crew it takes the nausea off. Too bad they could not beat who they played today.

I was so impressed when Jeff Green's defense on Lebron. Every shot it seemed like Lebron had was a contested jumper; Green was right there with a hand in his face consistently. It was probably one of the better defensive performance I've seen on Lebron this year.

Man, I have lobbied for Green on the Lakers but his contract his horrible. Good defender, great length, good offensive skillset, athletic, etc. A perfect rotation guy...

Houston is beating Utah handily right now. But it's only second quarter.

Want Houston to collapse. If they win games like this it will be very hard for us to make the PS

Houston up by 43 at the time of this post. That is a legendary beat down. Not thrilled though, need Houston to lose a few for the Lakers to have a real chance.

you guys do realize that we're not too far back of Utah either right? I think that both the 7th and 8th spots are gonna be a dog fight between Utah, Houston, Portland, LA, and Dallas. 1-6 is pretty much set.

wtf was that, utah? they've been very tough at home all year, and they get absolutely pounded by an inferior team that's on their heels in terms of playoff positioning?

i'm mad because a) the lakers need houston to lose the games they're supposed to lose (i.e., at utah). houston's been dutifully doing that pretty much all year. if they break that pattern, the lakers basically can't catch them. b) i doubt utah loses many more games at home, and they play a ton of them. plus, they'll get mo williams back, and he's important as their only pg who can score and best overall perimeter player. the lakers never had much of a shot at catching them.

houston and portland are the targets, and houston getting the win last night was a blow.

Normally I wouldn't put much stock into this, but that blown call cost us in the standings. :man2:

^ While I would have much rather preferred if Portland lost isn't Dallas pretty close behind us in the standings?

Pistons have less than 10 million committed in cap room in 2014/2015 now. Last time they had cap room they splurged on Charlie V and Ben Gordon.

I'm watching a feed of the Den Hou game right now. Wow the Nuggets commentators have no energy whatsoever. They don't even care when the Nuggets score, total opposite of Billy Mac who blows his load over every Laker basket.

I have this gut feeling that CP3's kneecap is worse than "day-to-day" like the Clips are reporting.

Indiana spanking Miami, I'd love to see a playoff rematch. Still can't believe they blew that 3-1 lead they had.

Caron Butler with the cheap steal at the end of the loss.... WTF was that crap.
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

Uncle Drew destroyed Brickbrook and the whole Thunder D in the clutch ...

Another great talent wasted on a poor team

Man if CP3 was out for the season, I think the Clips would fall out of the playoffs. That's stretching it, but damn they would get bounced with ease in the 1st round.

The CP3 bruised knee cap should start to concern Clips fans.

To add to that, they have a pretty brutal February. They could realistically only win two games out of the whole bunch.

Orlando and Charlotte..........the rest are against quality teams.
