The Clippers are getting absolutely demolished

^That shouldn't be a surprise. Pop is a great coach. He designs schemes defensively to take the ball out of Chris Paul's hands or if Chris does decide to drive or shoot, it's a contested, difficult shot. It would be interesting breaking down the tape at looking at the quality of the shots of Parker vs. Paul tonight.

By the way, Parker is the best PG in the NBA.

Easssssssssy there, lol. I wouldn't say he's the best PG just because he got the best of Paul tonight...but he is no doubt playing at a MVP level, and has been for the whole season. Consistently good, I would put him right behind LeBron in the MVP chase.

I don't make statements like that based off of one game. IMO, Parker has had a better season then Chris Paul. Matter of fact, if you look at their whole body of work for their careers, Parker has been better then Paul, IMO.

I still think CP3 is is one of the top 2-3 PG's in the NBA. He just isn't better then Parker.

Parker is more consistent than any other PG in the league for some seasons ....


1. he's a better fit when it comes to a team concept ... he doesn't hog the ball and dribbles it for 15 seconds between the legs before making a decision ... of course it has something to do with the coach and system too but every player on his team is touching the ball ... not like teammates led by Rondo or CP3

2. he's not hurt every single season like all the others top PGs are ... it happened only one season in his career

3. His work ethic and his desire to win are VERY underrated

I watched the last 6 minutes or so of that Warriors Knicks game. Curry really was something else. Thought that game had a very good chance of going to OT but then the Warriors just kind of made two unforgivable mistakes in the closing minute and lost it right like that.

Anyone think it is kind of weird, sign of the times maybe, that the highest scoring game this season is 54 from Curry? Seems like in the past 10 years most seasons have had numerous 50+ point games and often more than one 60+ game. Especially when you got a guy like Durant in the game(or Steph curry for that matter, that guy can shoot with the best of them) not to mention Lebron. I honestly don't think Lebron will ever have a 60 point game in his career really. Durant still has westbrook alongside him so maybe his overall scoring output is split a little. But still, has defense just gotten better? are superstars more pass-first? is it just a coincidence?
