NBA Games Discussion 2013-2014 GAME OF THRONES Edition

Pacers are winning their games comfortably and Hibbert and West aren't even playing that well (or trying that much) on offense. Impressive.
Stephenson is becoming more and more reliable.

If these Houston announcers don't stop crying about fouls, I'm going to lose my mind.

Lowry stands there staring at the ball in the air.
Beverley comes from behind and jumps over Lowry.

Foul on Lowry.

The Raptors gave it a go. I'm surprised they even took 'em to 2OT after Valanciunas fouled out. That guy was outworking Dwight on the offensive glass.

The fact it took 2 overtimes to beat the raptors at home when Gay/Derozan shot 17/62 is an embarrassment.

Had they both shot horribly instead of atrociously, the raptors might have stolen that game.

So to get my mind off some of our Lakers woes I was checking out the game day thread on Clutchfan for the Raptors game. There was an awful lot of recognition that the Beard Pecker ( Doc Brown) (dribbling a hole in one spot on the hardwood :man10: ) was deliberately not passing to wide open Lin on a couple of occasions, going 1 on 3 hero ball instead. Definitely seems to be an anti Lin clique going on over there. And Lin had played well in the 1st half I gathered?

If Casey and McHale are NBA coaches , I am too ... they should get fired by the league for drawing up little plays and letting their "stars" players bricking shot after shot possession after possession

game was over when lowry fouled out*. Toronto's offense looked bad enough when they had their floor general. it fell to pieces without him.

and I agree, as much as I dislike dantoni, the idea that howard left la in part to play for McHale is super LOLworthy.

as for Houston, lin hit several big shots for them down the stretch, but I still don't like his game all that much. something tells me harden and howard won't appreciate any narrative that (accurately) has lin bailing them out of what would have been an ugly home loss.

Houston lacks coaching and discipline. There are talented players on that team but there is no real thought process behind what they do.

Howard will never get any better than his is today. Harden has the basics of being a very good player.... the rest on that team have one or two NBA skills and that's it. Harden would have to take it to another level for this team to have a shot at going deep in the playoffs. WTS.... I do think they will be better once they get more time together.

Jabari Parker looks like the real deal. He has a Pierce/Melo like jumper/offensive game, but he looks like a legit point forward in addition. 19 points in the first half against Wiggins and Kansas.
