Not having Bogut killed GS...

Interesting that Paul isn't initiating the offense down the stretch. Why wouldn't Doc use the second best PG ever in a tight game in the 4th?

Doc Rivers has to be the most annoying coach...jesus

Curry clearly got fouled for a 3 by CP and he's running up and down the court like he didn't get fouled..(its debatable if he was trying to distract Curry too for causing such a commotion).

He won a 1st round series against a 6th seed in a game 7..without their staring big man..and he's acting like he won the chip..jesus.

I hope OKC kills em.

Clippers just won the title ... Durant is going to kill this soft defense .

No surprise in these Games 7.. SAS will win tomorrow and I think BK players experience will prevail in Toronto

Yeah, not like he led the entire association in rebounding huh? Only against GS huh?

Yes, because my comment is so off base. OKC held him to his 4th lowest rebounding total during the regular season. So yea we will see come playoff time what he's got. You sure love coming in here after Clippers wins and puffing your chest out.

Could I possibly hate the Clippers any more? After reading about that, apparently the answer is yes!

How could you be such a bad sport as to rub it in after beating the Warriors? Act like you have some sportsmanship even if you don't d****! :mad1:

^^ Paul's entitled attitude has rubbed off on the entire organization it seems.

I can't think of a team or group of players that I have a greater lack of respect for either.

^^^^ You're going to love this

LOS ANGELES -- There's still no love lost between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Golden State Warriors.

According to three people with knowledge of the situation, the teams that went back and forth in a brilliant Game 7 of their first-round playoff series on Saturday night (a 126-121 Clippers win) followed the on-court action by engaging in a heated verbal back-and-forth in the tunnel that connects the locker rooms at Staples Center. The people spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the situation.

The incident came in two waves, with most of the Warriors in the hallway at one point along with several Clippers. The police were called to assist, though it's not believed any punches were thrown.

While all the details of the situation were not immediately clear, it's believed that Warriors big man Marreese Speights was among the aggressors for the Warriors while point guard Chris Paul was allegedly the irritant for the Clippers — though maybe even in silence. As was described by the witnesses, Paul came along as the incident appeared to be dying down and his mere presence picked things up again.

For all the talk of Blake Griffin and how he gets under his opponents' proverbial skin, Paul is the one who has been driving the Warriors mad for quite some time now. He wasn't alone, though, as Matt Barnes and Glen Davis were also among the other Clippers players seen at the scene. The Warriors' Jermaine O'Neal, Stephen Curry and Steve Blake were also involved, with Golden State coaches — including head coach Mark Jackson — eventually coming out when the situation escalated.

As the Warriors had to swallow the loss and saw their season come to an end, there was loud celebrating in the hallway not far from where they stewed and perhaps some choice words from sources unknown that sparked their rage. Then, one person said, a loud remark was made several times into the Warriors locker room about how quiet it was inside and that prompted several Warriors players and coaches to come out. The Warriors, who found only Clippers ballboys when they first left their locker room, were under the impression that it came from a Clippers assistant coach.

After a season in which they battled over everything from pregame chapel to the timeless complaints about Griffin's acting habits to Griffin's accusation that the Warriors played "cowardly basketball," this comes as no surprise. Speights voiced his view of Paul after the Warriors' Game 2 loss in Los Angeles.

"It's not really Blake Griffin; it's all Chris Paul for real," the former Memphis Grizzlies big man said as he sat near the loading dock. "Chris Paul starts all of that stuff. Before Chris Paul came here, the team was not like that. It's just two teams going hard at each other."

Grizzlies’ Zach Randolph ‘still in shock’ over suspension that forced him to miss Game 7

The Grizzlies fought admirably for the first half of their eventual Game 7 loss to the Thunder, but realistically, they had a very small chance of pulling off the victory with Zach Randolph out of the lineup.

The frustrating thing for Memphis fans is that only Randolph himself is to blame, for landing a punch to the face of Steven Adams late in Game 6 that caused the league to hand down a suspension the very next day.

It was a more unusual situation than most like it, in that essentially no one saw this coming. This play completely flew under the radar until the league dropped the hammer, which may explain Randolph’s extended state of surprise.

From Ronald Tillery of the Memphis Commercial Appeal (via HoopsHype):

The punishment for punching Thunder center Steven Adams came out of nowhere. Randolph’s head is still spinning. “It hurts,” Randolph said from a hotel less than a mile from Chesapeake Energy Arena about 90 minutes before tip-off. “I apologized to the guys. I feel like I let them down. I’ve got a lot of emotions going on right now, and rightfully so. When I woke up the next morning (after Game 6), I didn’t have any idea I was going to get suspended. I’m upset about it. I’m still in shock.”

“I want to apologize to my fans and the organization,” Randolph said. “This was totally unexpected. I wasn’t even thinking about that play. Normally, if you do something in a game like get a technical or get into something, you think about it all night. I didn’t think about it. I was just upset about the loss. Not being able to play in Game 7 never crossed my mind.”

It wasn’t much of a punch, but it was a blow to the head nonetheless, and the league made the right call in issuing the suspension. Randolph’s remorse is likely of little comfort to the fans or his teammates, as his actions caused his team to squander a legitimate chance to upend the Thunder and advance to the second round.

It’s worth noting that Randolph may have played his final game for the Grizzlies. He has a player option for $16.9 million for next season, but can forego that to become an unrestricted free agent, thereby securing more guaranteed money over a long-term deal.

Randolph has been great for the Grizzlies during his five seasons there. It would be a shame for his time in Memphis to end like this.

Dumb a**. Did he think he could toss a punch and land it (however light) and nothing happen, the way they go over the tapes now looking for slightest reasons to call flagrants. Yeah he ought to feel bad.

Edit: OK just went and looked at a slow mo of what Zach did. He is a dumb A**. Running up the floor he feels Adams had done something (what did he do?) so egregious that he gives him a one two combination with left elbow to the rib cage and not that light of a right cross to the side of his face. Right up there with MWP's elbow to Harden's head, though not as vicious.

What a quick release and amazing shot running to his left for a right hander. Over in the Doom forums……errrr…..Clutchfan, someone even started a thread saying it was impossible to do that in .9 of a second. Other people there even shot him down. Fish's .04 probably will never be topped for catch and shoot. The fact it was a three for both of them and nothing but net is just :man4:

Glad the Nets escaped with the W. They did not match up well with how athletic TOR was 1-5. Miami they match up with, should be a good series on our hands coming up.

They should have run a quick pick and roll with a misdirection on the baseline. Lowry would've had a few options. All better than the freelance bullsh** they ran instead.

I like TOR but was rooting for BKN because they are Heat stoppers. Toronto has got to be happy at their success.
