Knicks trying to scare J.R. Smith straight with public, but empty trade talk. Of course, they understand there's no market for him.

I know you don't want to play for the lead and you want to instead keep the offense up and try and continue to grow it but the main reason the Heat got back in the game at all (and this is something you see a lot with big early leads) is that the Wizards were playing too fast paced and started to make a bunch of errors. Seems to me that if you have a 34 point lead, sure, go ahead and run your sets, but start them 3-4 seconds later than you normally would, just try and use the clock as much as you can. Instead they'd be hoisting shots with 15 seconds left on the shot clock allowing the Heat to score in rapid succession (10-15 points in 2 minutes type pace) I mean there does come a point when a lead is _so_ big that you could practically have a shot clock violation on every possession and the opposing team still wouldn't be able to cut into it.

Yup... and even their "big" shoots the majority of his shots outside the paint. The playoffs will be a much different story for them IMO.
WTS... they are a fun team to watch and seem to play together..... which is a lost art.

The reason apparently is that they do not know how because they played with Asik all of last season so that was not something they did with regularity. Sounds plausible enough but seriously? Haven't these guys have played basketball all their life that an entry pass into the post is that complicated?
