Damnit vet. Min with second year a player option?

Would have been a nice pickup. :bang: :bang:

I'd assume if we missed out it was due to giving no second year option, shame. Pelicans are making pretty active this offseason.

We probably didn't want to give him the second year. No worries.

Damn Anthony Morrow signed for Pelicans for vet minimum ! :bang:

It's so sad that the once mighty prestige Lakers is less attractive than the Pelicans right now.

^ Again: He got a second year in New Orleans. LA is not offering that.

Easy decision by Morrow and easy decision for the Lakers. Morrow is in no way, shape, or form worth a second year to a team that's trying to convince LeBron AND Melo to come here next season.

Every dollar will count next year when you're trying to land one or two big name free agents. Just ask Dallas and Atlanta and then ask Houston.

You're right, it's not that big of a deal, but it's much easier this way. Besides the Anthony Morrows of the world will be plentiful next season if/when we want to go that route AFTER we've either landed or struck out on the bigger names.

Just like this season: it's much more important to focus on the big names that will dramatically change the season then to waste room/time on lesser talents like Morrow.
