I see they took a cue from the Grizzlies with this one.

Philadelphia 76ers Will Sign Kevin Grow, Teen With Down Syndrome, to Two-Day Contract

When it comes to professional sports, it’s always heart warming to see teams go the extra mile off the court to make an impact in individual’s lives off the court. As for one teen in Bucks County with down syndrome who recently made headlines for a stellar performance on senior night by hitting four shots from three-point range in the final two minutes, it looks like he’s going to receive the dream of a lifetime by signing with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Bensalem senior Kevin Grow will sign a two-day contract with the Sixers this week–which is simply awesome to hear. Not only will the sharp shooter will have the chance to practice with the team during Tuesday’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, but Kevin will receive a few extra perks from the organization as well to make the evening that much more special–including a tour of the Wachovia Center and some new Sixers gear.
It’s always amazing to see these types of feel-good stories from professional teams and athletes as Philadelphia as an organization deserves all of the credit in the world to give Kevin the experience of a lifetime. And as amazing as Kevin’s story is when it comes to signing this new contract with the Sixers, it’s even more amazing to see how much of an inspiration Kevin has become across the country thanks to his phenomenal performance on Senior Night against Neshaminy that has turned him into a national celebrity.
