U.S. Qualifying Games on Pay TV

All the U.S. games in the first two rounds will be available through IN DEMAND, as will the semifinals, gold medal and bronze medal games in Puerto Rico. The cost will be $59.99 for all 12 games or $9.95 per game.

NEW YORK, Aug. 5 – MSG Network and NBA TV will telecast the USA Basketball vs. Puerto Rico exhibition game live from Madison Square Garden on Aug. 15. MSG Network will produce the telecast, which will begin at 7 p.m. ET.
Calling the game for MSG will be play-by-play announcer Marv Albert, New York Knicks analyst John Andariese, game host Al Trautwig and, in his MSG Network debut, analyst Mike "The Czar of the Telestrator" Fratello.

This will be the final tuneup for the U.S. squad before taking on Brazil in the opening game of the Olympic Qualifying Tournament on Aug. 20.


I guess this is the only free broadcast of the USA team!!!

I really dislike Pay-Per-View.
