Does anyone else feel like the league, as a whole, is just a little bit crummier this season than last season? Maybe it is just the top teams that are slacking off. I haven't crunched the numbers, not sure if I am going to(there's a lot to crunch) but, off the top of my head, there is no team that looks all that deadly right now, and no team that is really coasting. Additionally, offensive and defensive rankings on the top teams are all considerably lower than they were last year. Remember last season the Lakers held the #1 spot for offensive rankings, almost the entire season while Cleveland and Boston traded off the #1 defense ranking. This season, all the top teams have hovered in the 3-8 range of defense and the 6-12 range of offense. Yet, they're still top teams.

We haven't been seeing many memorable games with big blow-out accomplishments from individual players or from team efforts(there have been some, don't get me wrong) when last year it seemed like, for us at least, they'd happen at least once a week.

All together, This season just *feels* like a wild-card to me, lately. As though, collectively, everyone in the league is just a little tired, and a little bit overworked.

Probably just imagining things....

I had the most amazingly vivid, borderline lucid dream the other night that I was on the Lakers. I was a reserve shooting guard, coming in basically as much as Sasha has this year, but still occasionally getting a game where I could shine. I was averaging just under 10 PPG for the month of february, playing about 10 minutes per game. But, I overheard some of the other guys(Shannon, Drew, and Pau) complaining that my defense was terrible. So, I spent the remainder of the dream in the gym practicing. It was awesome, I didn't want to wake up.

Mo Evans pulls a Kobe ... but five times harder.

I just realized they're just 5.5 games behind Boston. :man10:

I would laugh quite hard if by some miracle, Milwaukee finished ahead of the Celtics and got first round homecourt against them.

Have you guys been watching Inside the NBA during the playoffs? I know Chuck kind of hates on the Lakers, but damn that show is funny. They have amazing chemistry, they are funny, and talk about basketball. Very entertaining.
Every time I begin to ask, "Is he really as great as I think he is?" ...He proves that he is.
Every time I begin to wonder...He proves it...That is why I won't lose hope in him.
You know who I am talking about.

i dunno what it is but whatever team john salmons gets traded to tends to win.
sure his team didn't win last year, but he helped bring the celtics to 7 games
and this year on the bucks his team is damn near pulling an upset.

He is a very solid glue guy. I would of loved him on the Lakers.
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

It sounds like a pun on "All The Rage," but I don't know what Raj is referring to. Raja Bell, maybe, or something to do with an Indian sport or player? :man3:
Thanks for the sig, Jr. Kobe.
