There has been no significant basketball related news in weeks. I want something big to happen because I've been bored out of my mind.

Clippers are going to have an 11-game road trip in February, spanning the All Star Weekend. Is this the longest road trip in NBA history?

lol wow they got shafted, and it probably is the longest trip ever...but who cares it's the clippers.
Every time I begin to ask, "Is he really as great as I think he is?" ...He proves that he is.
Every time I begin to wonder...He proves it...That is why I won't lose hope in him.
You know who I am talking about.

Technically it's a 10 game road trip. They are still home when the play the Lakers.

It's not about the logo on the parquet floor. It's about the geographic location.

Just found two old videos of Kobe when he was still with Adidas. This was his first of three visits to our country, circa 1998:

does anyone think that the bucks are better than the bulls? a lot of chicago fans IMO are overrating their team. i think the media has something to do for it as well. herb kohl, a current senator, has put an impressive team and has filled it with athleticism and veteran leadership. if anything, we will see the return of brandon jenninngs (no sophomore slump) and a stronger and leaner bogut for 10 rebounds a game. i think the bucks will have a better record at the end of the year than the bulls. i am actually hoping for this, so i may be a bit biased. your thoughts?

haha i made a bold prediction , maybe a bit tad messed up, that boozer would for sure get injured and calculated that the bucks were a better team.

I don't want to rate the Bucks over any team that they can brush elbows with. I like their team and I just want to enjoy watching them play and rack wins, of course except the Lakers. I'd probably watch a good number of their games.

We all hate the Celtics, but Rondo has 67 assists through 4 games, that's the most through 4 games in history, ahead of Stockton and Magic. So yeah, I hate, but I still have to say that Rondo is a fantastic PG, if he could shoot he'd be the best in the NBA.

Without Steve Nash, Amare is being exposed...

Career-high in TOs and career low in FG% (05-06 doesn't count)... Yeah, I know it's early but still...

It's painful trying to watch him create his own shots...

i know a lot of people whine/complain about chris paul, but there is nobody else in this league who as shown as much competitiveness as kobe other than cp3.

if you can't see cp3 carrying the hornets on his back, then you must be ignorant of what kobe did when he did the same for smush/kwame

The hornets, Hawks and Lakers are all unbeaten

We have the Lakers as currently constructed, DJ Mbenga from the Hornets and J-Peezy from the Hawks

To a lesser degree, Allen Iverson is the Kenny Powers of the NBA.

Eastbound & Down it is for him.

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

the Hornets are not a great team by any means...and I'm not afraid at all...

they are a mediocre team on a hot streak but they will eventually come down to earth.

the media continues to tout Hornets and Nuggets as good teams that matter , kind of annoying cuz they won't do anything come playoff time
