dude
clips were doing fine, 12-5 before redick went down
you're delusional to make a big deal about a 12 game stretch to throw paul under the bus

Naw.... just having some fun.

Facts are facts however. 9-3 without Pau with almost all of their Offensive stats improving isn't something that can be just swept under the rug. It's actually fairly pronounced how much better the ball moves without him on the floor right now. If it were a 6 game stretch I'd not think much of it...

Rooscooter,

I'm sure you haven't been watching any Clipper games but let me explain to you why the Clips have been winning without CP3. Collison is having an amazing stretch. He is playing the best ball of his career. He's making everything right now and playing like a man possessed. Griffin is also playing at a superstar level. Just taking his game to a higher level. Not to mention, Crawford is lighting it up. Jordan is still rebounding and playing solid D. And Redick, Dudley and Barnes are playing at a high level. So when you have most of your main guys playing above their normal levels, this is what happens.

If you want to make yourself feel better by saying CP3 sucks due to this run, by all means, all power to you.

Can you tell me what I'm thinking right now?

btw…. your posts confirms every thing I've said about CP3 and what he does to his teams….. every point…. right there. You were listening it seems….

IIRC, when Collison was backing up CP3 in New Orleans, the team and Collison himself performed well during a short stretch when CP3 was injured.

CP3 was out from November 14th to December 1st in 2009-2010. During that stretch, they went 4-3 with Collison at the point.

If you were watching, you would know that what I said above is 100% true. When most of your players play at a level above what is normally expected of them, they usually win. And that's exactly what's been going on. This type of stuff happens a lot. Star player goes down, the rest of the team feels the urgency they play well for a few games without their star. This happened with Kobe and the Lakers several times.

I mean if you think CP3 "sucks" or is "overrated", I could care less. Everyone has an opinion and we can agree to disagree.

Yeah, I think that was one of the best stretches of his career. Collison is REALLLY, I mean REALLY playing above his normal level. He's hitting 3 pointers on a consistent basis which is something he doesn't do. He is just playing lights out on every aspect of his game right now and the Clips are clearly benefitting.

In 12 games and 33.8 minutes per game as a starter this year, Darren Collison is averaging 13.8 points, 5.8 assists, 2.8 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 0.2 blocks on 49/45/89. Team has gone 9-3. Collison's TS% is 60.5%. Usage Rate is at 18.0%. Most telling is his 3 point shooting, he is 14 of 29, which is way above his career avg.
