Samaki to sign with the Heat

Samaki to sign with the Heat

Postby nosebleedbum on Fri Aug 01, 2003 10:09 am

Evidently, Riles is desparate as the lakers once was. Walker never had the respect in LA. Although he may do better in the east- no Duncan, Webber, Dirk, or Amare to deal with. Let's see if Miami fans likes him.

At least he won't be dissed like the the new guy with the foreign name- Ousmane Cisee. It's one thing to screw his name up by calling him "Sissy" but to call him "Osame" is just wrong. Man talk about character assisination.

Note to Jamaal: It's always bad to wear a 3-piece in a team profile picture. Might impress mitch if he's looking for PAs. But that picture says you have no skills. Then again, you probably have a better chance as mitch's PA than making the roster.

well, if by "east" you mean "junior varsity girls badminton team" then yes, I think he just may do better. Then again, those florida chicks play some mean badminton...

Samaki's gone, man. In L.A. I get tired of seeing him make pump-fakes and then shoot contested 15-footers all the time. He's only there for D and rebounds. He may have led Louisville a long time ago, but Riles the dog is just insane to get carp like him. Didn't he see that while the dude was in the Lakers? I bet fifty that Riley only wants to grab the rings from Samaki and then knock him unconscious and run away. That's be funny.

yeah, who cares how tall he is....Shawn Bradley is 7+ feet does that matter....his attitude is what bugs and just like elden campbell, he doesn't have great hands. He will play a couple of soso games in miami, before he realizes that they are playing for [Swearing is not permitted at Clublakers. That's why Kobe decked him....to got some of that fire burning in him....but he doesn't have that edge and never will.

not only that, but as I have said a gazillion times before, Samaki isn't a great hard worker by any means at all. Sure, he was drafted #9 overall ahead of Kobe, but that only proved that he was even the more the mere fluke he was. The only notable note he had at college was 2.42 blocks. We knew the guy just wasn't an able, consistent scorer. This would probably go down as one of the worst draft picks in history (actually Kwame Brown was). Most of the time he even misses that open 15-footer. He's just losing it. I won't be surprised if he gets cut off the Miami roster by the end of next year.
