Wade has been playing lock up defense the last few years in the playoffs.... Westbrook is a poor on ball defender. Decision making isn't even close..... I guess there isn't a stat for that or a top ten list on ESPN so a lot of people miss those things.

You seem to have an irrational dislike for Wade..... :man10: Playoff performance counts a lot in my evaluation of players and the basic stats definitely do not tell the whole story there. Westbrook may get there but he's still all about himself at this point. A better version of Jennings.

you're kidding, right? wade's been like last year's kobe on defense...for most of his career.

oh, and I won't pretend not to have an anti-wade bias. I think he's intensely overrated (like you with westbrook and paul) mostly thanks to crooked officiating in a single playoff series, and he's also a giant douche. I loved watching dirk castrate him and LeBron on the big stage a couple years ago...ah, the glory days...

Wade flat out embarrassed Nash last year as a defender and no less than 3 consecutive possessions in overtime last year sealed SA's fate. In fact he had the steal that set up the tying shot as well. Big plays when they count count more to me than impressive play against weak teams in the regular season and stats.

I also think Wade's overrated.... But in a tight series I'd take him over two Westbrooks. He's shot the Thunder out of just about every playoff season since he came in the league.

Greg Monroe is too small to be playing center, which seems to be an issue in the leastern conference where centers are scarce. He needs to move to the PF position. It's not his offensive skills that he's lacking. It's his position.

According to the NBA's SportsVu tracking data, Rose is shooting 4 percent on pull-up jumpers this season, which STATS, Inc. defines as a jump shot taken outside 10 feet after at least one dribble.
