Spurs going after T-Mac

I have heard that in 2005 the Spurs are going to be one of the many teams contending to get McGrady. They are going to start clering cap as soon as possible.

This could be cool.......

I also read in the LA times that Kobe will be pursued by the Denver Nuggets in 2004. Kobe to Denver...please don't believe everything that you hear!

You have to remember that Duncan dissed T-mac in 2000 when Orlando was going for him...then this summer J. Kidd dissed Duncan and the Spurs by staying put in NJ....T-Mac has pride and I think, he too will diss Duncan and the Spurs because of what happened in 2000. Plus, to go from South Beach to the Alamo...talk about a dramatic change in life style. For some reason, can't you guys see T-mac with a cowboy hat and a straw of hay in his mouth...for some reason I can see that....but it won't happen.

If T-Mac is smart, he would consider playing with duncan!! This could happen if the magic diss T-Mac or something of that sort would happen. Like the same reason Shaq left orlando!!!

Zeta, I'm pretty sure Orlando will do whatever it can to keep T-Mac. You have to remember that Shaq had LA to consider. T-Mac would have to consider the Alamo....major major difference. You have to remember that the lifestyle there must be good...cause Shaq always goes back there during the offseason and Ho Grant decided not to come back to us and play limited mins. in Orlando. He could have easily gone to Chi-town after leaving the Raptors. I won't say he won't consider it, but in the end, I think he will react just like Jason Kidd had...he wants to finish what he started in Orlando.

he played behind Vince, but yea ur right NOW he would have too much pride to be the 2nd option on the team, but maybe if it meant winning a championship, he'd do it. Hell, look at malone and payton. They went from bein #1 option on the team, to maybe 3rd or 4th option on a laker team that already features 2 of the top 5 players in the NBA!

yea everyone can hate on TMac all they want, but he's a damn good player

im not sure yet if he can ever be the #1 man on a successful team, but he would be a GREAT #2

cant wait til the 2004 Olympics.... i honestly do not care about anyone else on the tream except i want to see the 3 HSers, Kobe TMac and Garnett tear it up

Well T-Mac can't get it done by bein the 1st option.. At least if he played with Duncan, they'd make a great duo against Shaq and Kobe, cuz of the dominance. Well until T-Mac can set his pride away, he wont be winnin any championship anytime soon.
