How many wins (range) do you think they will accumulate for the Reg Season?

40-44 if they stay healthy. Good team, not great. Top of the middle of the pack teams in the East. They'll make some noise.

If Bynum goes beast-mode the whole season, they will win 45-50. He should be able to dominate the East.

50+ wins would be Philly's best case scenario, and they're capable of it. I wouldn't too be shocked if they did it... but they won't for one reason or another. 45-49 sounds right

WIth iggy gone evan turner is gonna have a break out season. They should do well. I say 52 games max

They got size, athletic defenders, 3 point shooting, but will they fit?

They have a lot of young talent at multiple positions. And they're very athletic. They're kinda like the Denver Nuggets of the east.

How well they do really depends upon Bynum since he's their anchor on both sides of the floor. His ability to block shots is what will get them the easy baskets in transition. His ability to draw double and triple-teams in half-court is what will make them more than just a run 'n gun team.

I don't expect them to win 50 games, but I think it's possible if everything clicks right. You can't underestimate a team with a true b2b 2-way big man and athletes who can get easy baskets in transition.

There will be no more Kobe or Pau, so the defense will always pay attention to him, that is a very huge adjustment...

I don't know how many wins, but I'm guessing 6-8th seed, 1st round exit...

In the past 2 years they've hovered around .500, they were 35-31 last year, and literally 41-41 the year before. With Bynum I can seem them adding 5-10 wins easily. Not to mention the East SUCKS too...

And it's not clear now, but Evan Turner will be their 2nd best player like johnnyboy mentioned.

I don't know if I see it. I think they'll win more games, but you're talking about an intensely young team that's extremely raw. I think they'll be good and you're right playing in the East will mean more wins than if they were out West, but 50 wins? That seems like too much to me.

You've changed my mind from 40-44 to 45-49, but that's it. If they win 50 games I'll be surprised.

You have to look at the competition around them, the Knicks have gotten better, the Nets have gotten better, the pacers have gotten better, then you got Miami obviously the eastern Conference champs, not sure how this Philly team can make any noise when the top 4 teams have been together a couple of years and have addressed their team needs and Boston and Chicago are obviously wild cards

I think the Sixers will be tough...they have a legit big man and some nice young pieces around him.

He doesn't have Kobe and Pau. But he does have Hawes (very good shooting big), Dorell Wright (36% 3pt career), J-Rich (37% 3pt career), Nick Young (37% 3pt career), and Holiday (38% 3pt Career), The shooting from the SF spot isn't that great, but the outside shooting from the guards is very good.

And these guys aren't just standstill shooters either. They have athleticism too and can run the floor. No Jason Kapono's and Troy Murphy's.

That's the kind of outside shooting from role players that we could have used last season when we were the worst 3pt shooting team in the league.

Collins is a damn good coach for that group. How he does with Drew is TBD, but he's a player's coach/player development coach and Drew is their franchise player, so I don't foresee any of the issues he had with Brown or Phil.

I don't think they get 50, too many other teams in the East improved too. But they'll get close. Collins has to get them to mesh quick and get everyone adapted to their new roles (mainly Drew and Turner).

Bynum will have his chance..... he's taken advantage of everyone he's been given so far so barring injury he should take another step forward.... if that team gels they could be pretty good. They are very balanced and put up effort every night. They can shoot, run and play defense.... and they are well coached.

I'll take the top end of the expectations and say 51 wins and a second round close exit from the playoffs......

For a team that lost their scoring leader, Lou Will, AND their assist and steals leader, AI, I can't see them winning more than 50 unless they beat up on all the East's crap teams.

And I may be in the minority, but I don't really have faith in Evan Turner. Seems like an average player and disappointing 2nd overall pick, but I'll eat crow pie if I'm wrong.

Bynum will surely add more wins in their win/loss column, but he still has to learn to pass out of a double team and do the little things it takes to win, not just try to force a basket all the time.

Wright and Rich are decent pick-ups, but Nick Young I don't really see as a winner.

2nd round easy exit is how far I see this team going.

Even when Kobe and Pau were there, he still saw double/triple teams, not sure what you're getting at here.

The bigger adjustment for him is going to be actually having shooters and slashers around him to create space rather than shot creators. He's going to be the focal point, and the team will work around him.

Top 4 East Teams should be:
1. Miami
2. New Jersey
3. Boston
4. New York/Atlanta

I said 45-49 considering Bynum will be injured/suspended for a portion of the games otherwise, I feel philly will improve greatly with Drew as the main man.

It would of never worked with Kobe around.

Bynum is a really gifted scoring big man and a great defender when he wants to be but lacks a killer instinct and motivation to go above and beyond his limits.
